The Vobbit Hole
Like so many others I've seen posting here, I have been going back and forth trying to decide between a few different devices I've been looking at for an upgrade from my humble eGo set up. Having narrowed it down to the MVP or the Vamo (with a few different "hey what's THAT" moments whilst shopping for deals), I'm finally putting my foot down and making a decision. Going to go with my gut and get the MVP. I know the Vamo has more bells and whistles, but I got to test drive an MVP and it just felt right. Now, since I'll be ordering ANYWAY........I figure I might as well check out this whole carto-tank thing and see what that's all about. Up until now I've been using T3's and Protanks. Carto-tanks honestly kind of looked like a pain in the ..., but after reading (yet another) super-helpful Baditude blog, it doesn't look near as bothersome as I'd thought. (Am I the only one that pictures this guy sitting in a hut on Dagobah, vaping away and dispensing advice to thick-headed newbies?) Can anyone recommend a decent starter set up for this? Is the vape difference over a Protank (which I really enjoy) worth the extra effort?

Real simple way to find out if you want a carto tank is go buy a cartomizer and a drip tip for it. Fill it and vape. If you like that then get a tank. If you want to jump right in I've got a Smoktech XL DCT in pyrex with metal cover that's nice. They run a little less than a Protank in the local B & Ms. SMOKtech 5ml Chrome DCT Tank
