Finally upgraded.

I started out with the 30 blister pack CE5 knock off from a local B+M. It worked (and still works) great.

But every time I turn around here, someone else is saying how great variable voltage is. I always thought, 'Whatever. Frikkin' vaping snobs. Gotta choose your own voltage? Sheesh.'

Well... let me be the first to say how wrong I was. lol.

Got me one of those spinners. Vision Spinner and a big boy 3ml tank. And some higher resistance guts. Turns out the voltage I like will burn out my old ones. Fast. Lol.

Wow. The difference is substantial at the higher voltages. My juice has new life! I have thick vapor!

In short... I have seen the light!!

I just got my first real vape yesterday and love it. Ego Twist. I haven't had a enough trial runs to figure out when and why to change the voltage, but I do love vaping this unit. Way better than my starter the blu.

My strong guess is for every one person who starts with a Blu, then comes here and finally sees the light, there are easily 100 who get so frustrated with the poor performance of Blu but instead, just go back to analogs. That's what my local informal polling indicates. Which is a shame that they put all their vast resources into marketing instead of upgrading their PV.

Next you'll be wanting to try the world of rebuildables out, be ready If you're a fan of menthol or juice with menthol in them be ready. I coughed my head off the first hit using my AGA with Blue Ice from MBV.

Being stuck with one voltage is kinda like getting a Corvette but only using 3rd gear.

And that's 100% right - about telling folks what the better system is. Especially with me. I have this problem where I like to think I know more than I actually do. I just try to keep my mouth in check for the most part. Lol. Gotta do trial by fire for me and see what works. Glad I did.

I started out the first time with the Modern Vapor setup. I give it a solid "meh".

Turns out the less it looks like a cigarette, the better I like it. Lol

I vaped at a non-smoking bar/restaurant last night. Strange looks, lots of smiles. NO one complained and they all knew what it was--because it did NOT look like a cigarette. I don't know why most people (including myself) wanted a cig-a-like when beginning to vape. Maybe because they thought it would look strange?

Yep, my eRoll was just fine, thank you very much...(and in some ways it still is), but i've had my spinner and EVOD's a few days and the difference is like night and day!

It's the convince of what you are used to. I smoked a pipe for 30 years. I spent the last 5 occasionally looking online for an e-pipe that would work for me. They were either too expensive for a simple trial, or the atomizer and battery were part of the same unit. Then last year the makers of the 601 made the 601C for a price I could justify trying. Never mind the extra expense and health risks of continuing to smoke...
Once I discovered I liked it, I ended up spending $1400 in two months on pipes and accessories.

Well.. The point is that if I did not HAVE to have something familiar, I could have saved myself a lot of money and time as well as starting my vaping journey 5 years earlier.
Now I'm 6 months in and have not only the pipes, but two twists, two spinners and a PccP.
