I'm back on the vape train, 2 days smoke-free. I started vaping when 510 was very popular and lasted until eGo-T came out. Things happened, I ended up smoking again. I looked around and found what I thought was an amazing deal on a eGo-C twist, after my amazing results with my old eGo-T, why not try the latest?

I ordered from GoodProphets, this in specific, wanting to try out the new clearomizers. GP eCo-C CE4 MINI TWIST Kit

As soon as I got it I knew something was wrong with this. The link advertised a mini 650mah batt, but the one that came is normal size, coming in a 3 1/2 inches. I figured hell, this is cool, more battery power, why not!

Problems began right away, I cannot get the CE4 clearo to not gurgle when I fill it up. I even tried filling it up with a syringe just in case I somehow was getting it down the tube, but no luck, if I refill it, it's gonna get some leakage into the chamber. I've theorized that where the wicks come out there isn't a good enough seal to hold the liquid in and it's dripping in that way, any thoughts? I have spent more time cleaning out the CE4 that actually vaping it, any time I vape it, or fill it, or hell, just leave it alone, it floods. I've gotten a few lucky hour streaks here and there, but I've totally cleaned it out and dry-burned already, and problem persists.

Next problem is that I'm 2 days in to vaping and already the battery has gone "flat". I've tried using a tiny ... screwdriver to pull the connection back up to where it belongs, and I've gotten it twice, only for it to fall back down again after a single drag. I can no longer vape with the battery, or charge it.

I'm incredibly disappointed with the product, I found Joyetechs list of vendors and GoodProphets is not on it, so I'm really let down all in every aspect of this order. I have a CE4 that gets [edit really wet], coupled with a battery [edit: that is substandard]. I'm contacting GP right after I post this, but ...., this is annoying. I should have just stuck with an eGo-T, I loved my last one, but I just had to try the new things.

If anyone has any advice on how to fix the issues that would be great, I've cleaned both pieces thoroughly, I've tried pulling the connector up, I don't even know what to do except pick up a pack of analogs for tomorrow and pray GP's customer service is better than this product I now possess.

As for actual knowledge that I would like, what's the difference between eGo type a & b? Could I buy another eGo-c twist, and put a atomizer and tank on it, and keep the variable voltage? What would be the difference between type a & b parts? I will be giving kangers a go, but I have to have a full and working PV before I can branch out to cool & fun .....

After loving my 510, eGo, and eGo-T, this has been a colossal let down. I imagine it's my own damn fault for not finding out if it was genuine JoyeTech, live & learn I guess. Any advice, tips, info, would be greatly appreciated, gonna contact GP now.

Hey Ralt, welcome back to the forum!

The eGo Twist 650mAh is longer than the regular 650mAh eGo battery. Probably because the VV chip thing takes more space inside the casing.

Have you only got one battery? If so, it is normal for the battery to get flat after extended use. It is better to have more than one battery, so that you can always have a charged one ready to change out.

I don't understand where the leaking is coming from on your Stardust? Is at the bottom by the threads?

The differences between the eGo A and B. the A is the smaller cone shaped one and the B is the bigger cylindrical shape. If you really love the style of the eGo-T and want a newer version of the same thing, then maybe trying the eGo-C atomizer could be an idea, since the little atty heads are replaceable and you don't have to throw the whole thing away when the head is old.

Another option is the Mini Vivi Nova 2.5. Workd GREAT with the eGo batteries. This is definitely the most popular of all clearos right now. The heads are also replaceable (or even rebuilable for the real DIY enthusiast). Another nice thing about the Mini Vivi is the different color plastic or metal sleeves that can be bought separately, so you can customize to your taste. Although it comes with a driptip, any 510 driptip will fit.

If there is something wrong with your Twist, ask your vendor for a replacement.

Sorry to hear all this Ralt. Nothing more disappointing than starting to vape and have everything go wrong. Please, do not lose hope. this is just a bump in the road. :)

Sounds like you got a bad battery, as well as the wrong order, so GP should be able to make you whole.

As soon as I got it I knew something was wrong with this. The link advertised a mini 650mah batt, but the one that came is normal size, coming in a 3 1/2 inches. I figured hell, this is cool, more battery power, why not!

The new ego miinis are actually 450mah, and I don't think the kits GP is advertisiing are those. You don't want those as your main vape kit anyway, they are for errands and stealth vaping, you'd be on the charger all the time. They last about 4 hours.

You should not have to be "operating" on your new battery so soon. However, it is also possible that it's the CLEAROMIZER itself that has caused all the problems w/your batt. If the connector pin is too long it may be pressing the battery contact in every time you screw it on.

Could I buy another eGo-c twist, and put a atomizer and tank on it, and keep the variable voltage?
Stick with the twist. If you don't like clearos you can try cartos or punched cartos inside a DCT tank or you can put a vivi nova tank on it. :)

Let us know what happens about your order.

They're offering a refund, thankfully. I found my old vendor LiteCigUsa and I'm just ordering through them as they're a registered distributor of joyetech. I won't let this get me down, I ....ing hate analogs, despite the fact that I'm carrying a pack right now. I bought a Kanger T3 and one regular eGo-c atty type A with 5 tanks to go with it, just so I can compare how the two work.

I have no idea where the leaking is coming on my stardust/CE4, it seems to seal just fine to the silicone, I get like a few CM away from the tank when I'm filling to make sure I'm not getting some down the tube, and I don't overfill, I don't even fill it up totally just in case too much saturation of the wicks will lead to leaking down the tube. I got hours out of it sometimes, but sooner or later it was gurgling and barely giving any vapor. I'm hopeful for the Kanger and type C atty though, I did order another CE4 a few days ago, so I can compare mine to that one to see if I just got a ....ty one, or if CE4 is just not for me.

Thanks for all the advice, I'll read into the mini vivi nova's as well.
