So USPS says my new Mega eGo 900 was delivered today and I can't wait to get home and start vapin' away on it! I am currently using KR808s and I am wondering what to expect with the new PV. I am also trying to come up with a good excuse to leave work early.

Suggestions?

I have never used an atomizer and don't have any clue where to start so any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated!

Hahahaha! Love the excuses guys! I don't think I'm gonna be using the atomizers a whole lot either. Wish I could still use the cones they came in, though. The carto looks awfully weird sticking up out of that fat battery.

I love the ego mega atty's in my 900mah ego.My second one just died after about 3 months. I've been dripping in 510 attys and it's a pain in the but. Just ordered some new ones last night along with some of the emdcc's to try. I'll be stalking the mailman again. ;-)

Maybe if I knew what the heck I was doing I'd be more inclined to use them! How many drops? Do you use the cartridges with the atty? I tried the cartridge last night and dripped a couple of drops onto the atty and there was just nothing there. No taste, no vapor, no TH. Did I do something wrong?

After re reading this thread I noticed that you mentioned having cones. This means that you have the 510 attys that came with your ego kit and not the ego mega atty. With the ego mega atty i do use the cartridge and get about the same of vape that I do with dripping into the 510 atty. As for using the 510 attys I do just use them for dripping. On a new atty you want to blow out the atty from the battery connector end and get as much of oil that they are shipped with out. Then 2-3 drops of your liquid. You should get plenty of taste, vape, and TH. Of course this all depends on liquid too. ;-) I hope this makes some sense?

The attys are the mega attys and they are in the cones. Can they be removed? Also, the batteries are manual and sometimes when I press the button to start the draw, a pop of juice spits out. Any idea why this might be?

If your mega atty is cone shaped, are you sure it's not a Type A eGo-T atty? I don't think my mega attys are cone shaped....

Also, you can buy (for about $3.00) an eGo cone to put over the cartomizers if you like that look....
