I think I've finally found my groove.
Janty eGo + coffee straw mod
I started out with the KR808 was frustrated with the short battery life. I had heard that the 501 atomizer gave a great throat hit/vapor so I bought a Janty eGo which comes with a 501. My initial response was that this was great (great throat hit / vapor, etc... LONG battery life) but I needed to top off the carts so often with the standard filler that came with the carts.
I just discovered this thread:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tips-tricks/11421-cart-mod-better-refilling.html
AWESOME results: refills full all the time, the top of the filler stays wet, lasts ten times longer between top offs (if you want to call them that - I'm actually refilling the carts entirely with this technique) Great great vapor / throat hit - comparable to direct dripping because the polyfill stays wet where it touches the atomizer
It took me about a month and a half to hit "golden nugget" of performance.
Thanks to the forum and it's members for steering me in the right directions!
