Finding a hybrid can't be this difficult.

Hey everyone. I've been vaping for a few years now and have gained a fun little collection of PVs. Recently I've been getting into RBAs but the aesthetics aren't doing it for me right now. The Drunker on my eVic looks nice but doesn't give a whole lotta room for a proper coil. I also have a no name rba that hits like a tank but looks terrible on any PV I put it on.

Hybrids seem to be the way I wanna go, benefits of tried and tested RBA designs on bodies that fit and match perfectly. My issue is everywhere I look seems to be sold out.

Is my only option to stalk the various stores that I have found that are sold out or try to get verified for the classified section?

How did anyone here acquire their hybrid?

I feel your pain, seeing "Out of Stock" gets old. There's a couple of threads on this site regarding the issue.

You could go with a mechanical mod and get a Genesis style RBA. Functions just like a hybrid but cheaper...

there are threads discussing the "out of stock" issue. there is a chinese hybrid coming. i have no idea how good or bad it is though. just seen some pictures. i find most of the chinese products lacking elegance though, and some of them are quite ugly. but some of them do work very well. lets hope they improve on the looks, so we can all have things we can actually be able to buy when we want to.

Apparently (according to Zen) the 510 connector is fundamentally flawed, so a Hybrid could fix that.

Im never buying a Hybrid though, at least until the Chinese get those things down to $60 or around that.

That was definitely part of my plan. It seems stalking Facebook pages of companies is a good indicator of future stock levels, but damn, why is it so hard for me to find someone to take my money. lol

That's what I'm doing now. It just doesn't have that finish I'd like to see it have.

You have to have a golden ticket to get these things. Like impp83 said, you might want a mechanical mod. You don't feel pigeonholed into buying OUT OF STOCK parts for your hybrid if something goes wrong. You could put anything with a mechanical mod and it would look good.

It's funny, there is no real "need" for a hybrid. So its really become a specialist item, lots of relatively small time manufacturers putting their own distinctive spin on the hybrid concept. Wether its a zen, an iHybrid, etc they simply aren't being turned out by the tens of thousands. So, yeah it's primarily stalking websites, stalking message board thread lists and private sales(the classifieds).
Once you get your heart set on the one you simply "have to have" then it's just a matter of stalking all the approprate places. If you are willing to spend the money, can be a bit patient and put in the time, you'll find what you're after. Well, for the most part - you'll be able to acquire a hybrid. There are still a few that simply were never, or never can be produced in enough numbers to satisfy demand that's just the way it is. Honestly that's a big part of the appeal, if some of these massively sought after items were suddenly available in unlimited quantity half the people who want them,wouldn't anymore !

Other than that, try the threads on ECF for the devices you are interested in.
FaceBook is also a good place to find out what's being sold when.

You gotta stalk the classies. Get verified. You got a Paypal account you're good. Just scored a Zen mini for less than retail with extras. There was an Ash II and some Noble 1s on there as well for fair prices.

I know your pain, I decided to try and get some hybrid devices. I have half of one so far, I got myself a Team Rampage AMR.
Just waiting for it to be delivered and now the hunt is on for an ADAM, so I can use my AMR

Feeling the pain here as well. I've been thinking lately that all the time I've spent pressing F5 and visiting websites everyday - I could have had my own hybrid or mod combination designed and built. Probably would be a more efficient way to spend my time

I use a provari with the z-atty pro and it certainly does the trick and I love it. But i'm with you I'd love to try a hybrid, but they are not available. Not appealing here.
