Firefox????

I'm having a problem replying to posts when using FireFox. I do not have the latest version of FF, but it has worked fine in the past. Today though, I noticed that the quick reply box is grayed out and if I click on the "Reply to Thread" nothing happens. I tried using IE7 and I was able to post replies.
I tried to send a note to management at ECF, but probably sent it to the wrong "department"...lol. I was a little confused with all the email addresses, but considering the size of the forum, I understand why so many addys are needed.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm really baffled and would like to figure out what is going on.

PS..... Somehow fixed it. Cleared cache and history... now working fine......

I am having the same problem with FF, I thought it was just me and my pc, at least I'm not alone.

Try going to Tools in the upper menu bar, then click Clear Recent History, and in the check boxes, make sure only cache and cookies are checked and click OK. That worked for me..... hopefully you will get the same results.

Not sure if you were directing the comment to me or gjns711, Liscab, but yes, I was logged on at the time. I'm not computer savvy enough to know if clearing the cache and cookies had a thing to do with not being able to reply on threads though it seemed to work when I did clear them.
I used IE7 for snickers to see if it would work and it did, use FF 99.99% of the time with no problems until today. Maybe I had a gremlin in my system???? lol

actually i was directing my post to both of you, it has happened to me,let's say that now i am used to chrome when i have to use another browser some time I go lost

This is a little off topic, but what do you think of Chrome, Lizcab? I've been curious about it.....

on my side it has been working fine and no those faked warnings IE usually gives, i like it

That's why I quit using IE. FF has kept me well protected also. It's all the updates that drive me crazy. Seems to be a new one almost every week....lol. But, at least someone is watching and keeping it safe. I will check out Chrome though just to see how I like it. Thanks for the idea.
