firestone e-lvt mod vv/vw

has anyone tried this mod? It claims to be waterproof and basically indestructible but I would like to learn more about it before I buy it.

I have one. It is only water-resistant to xpa1 (10 minutes in a rain shower). Have a look at this thread:

I'm very happy with mine so far. Please bear in mind that it is heavy and that you cannot use it as a passthrough no matter what some sites say. Bob at Dovpo said:

So I'll go with that. Being heavy is rather good imho - it has "heft". The fact that you can put an 18650 in it and from then on charge via USB is a big plus imho. The silicone makes it easy to grip.

I cant remember where i found it last night but it was on sale for 69.99 and comes in 3 colors, other sites it was about 99 bucks, is 69 a good price?

I got mine from FT - it was cheaper there when I got mine. Ymmv.

$69 is a good price considering you can get it from FT for $59.
