Is the new version Omega's pin made of aluminium? Can I put Noalox on it? Does it conduct electricity? I'm getting a little oxidisation on it from time to time that I've been scratching off with my finger nail.

It is nickel plated brass, you can put NOALOX on it. Seems the batteries coming out now are made from a cheaper material and they oxidize faster. :(

Ah so it's the batteries themselves, good to know. Hopefully the Noalox will help. Thank you Chad. Speaking of batteries, I would be curious to know which you use as your primary.

I prefer the AW 3100mAh. They output over 5A and are protected :)
