Firmware for Tarot Nano

Hello, my name is Jodee and I'm new to this site. I'm also new to forums in general so I'm not sure what I'm doing! I have a vaporesso Tarot Nano that I've had 3 months. It suddenly stopped firing. vaporesso says a firmware download may correct the problem. How do I get the download into the mod? I've connected it to 2 computers, a laptop and a desk top.
this whole vape thing has been a disaster, so I'm pretty frustrated. Thank you for any help or advice you offer.

Download the compressed file from this page: Vape Kits | Tarot Nano Kit | Vaporesso

You'll then need to unpack the compressed file using a utility like WinZip, 7-Zip, WinRAR, etc.

Once the file is unpacked, run the setup utility to install the software to your PC. Once installed, you should be able to sideload the firmware to your device.

Welcome and glad you joined. Don't feel too bad, you are not the first to be fooled into purchasing advanced vape gear (labeled "starter kit") and skip the fun of finding what works best for you. Suggest you begin at the start of vaping and learn from the bottom up. By the way, yes, this is a starter kit for advanced, well grounded experienced vapers--a detail, perhaps, purposely left out of the sales pitch. Companies like this hurt vaping.
Anyhow all is not lost. The mod, once you get your firmware sorted, should easily power a simple non sub-ohm tank such as:
The Tron-S, with the CLR coils,the EHpro Kayfun Lite V2, Kayfun V5, and the Subtank Mini with the RBA

Hang in there Jodee. Once you take control (vaping allows this) of your vape, you will wonder why you smoked.

this is actually my 4th mod. I've had the kangertec subbox, nano, the tesla (I forgot the model) and now the tarot nano. My first mod, the white subbox was great. It lasted for 8 months until it was stolen from my car. That's when the nightmare began. I replaced it with the purple nano which lasted 3 months when the threads on the mod stripped and the tank will not screw onto the mod. Kangertec was no help at all. Then I purchased the little Tesla, which was awesome and that lasted 30 days when the connector came out of the base. I contacted Tesla and haven't heard a single word yet. Then I got the Tarot Nano. It lasted 3 months when suddenly the fire button won't work. I started vaping to put down a 3 pack a day smoking habit. I don't know anything about vaping outside of replacing a coil and filling a tank. When I purchased my first mod, the sales guy set the wattage and I've used that wattage every since. Thank you for the advice. I probably am going to have to replace this mod as well, so I need to know where to go from here.

So, I've followed the directions to download and install the firmware to my pc. I've unzipped the file and I'm ready to connect my Nano to my pc. The instructions for the firmware say to remove the battery. The Tarot Nano has an internal battery. Does anyone know how to get my mod connected to my pc?

It's entirely possible the mod is dead, especially as the original problem stated in your first post is it won't fire. Do you get any indication on the screen of the mod that it is powered on or off?

Oh it's alive and well! The display works, it tells me the wattage and whether its on or off. When the tank is unconnected, it has a wattage of 5, but when the tank is screwed in, it gives me the accurate wattage. It just won't fire. Those bypass buttons work as well, but I have no idea how to use those. It just won't fire. I took it back to the place I purchased it from and they had no idea either. So I don't know. I tried repeatedly to connect the mod to my pc and it just wouldn't connect.

You are doing it wrong...

Device must be powered off and in powered off state you need to keep the fire button pressed while connecting the cable.
