Well day one to be honest difficult. Might have smoked little less with the vaping. Think my problem is the taste i might just try the straight tobbaco carts the menthol (just my opinion ) is more like minty taste, was hoping for more natural cig taste. I know thats weird but i like the real cig taste. It seems every one got over it so quick just going to banna coffee all other flavors. I am going try monday another order so anyone got advice on a real kind of cig cart. I would love it. Kool mild man for 30 yrs. Have tried the cool, mboro, and america spirit all in 8 nic. Thx for your time !

Don't fret it that you can't just stop, 5 is better than 25. After 30yrs, it took me a couple days to be totally off them. Also get a 5ml of higher nic juice to top off with. I do 24 mg juice as a daily vape, but in the begining added a couple drops of 36 in the mornings to quickly qwell the demons. After 2 mos. , I don't need to do that any more

I'm no help since I wasn't a menthol smoker before, but the change from cigs to vaping doesn't happen overnight for all of us. I honestly HATED it the first 2 days and never thought I could do this. I stuck it out and clung to my cigarettes for a month before I finally talked myself into giving them up.

If you are not craving nic so much, it might be because you didn't cut down that much on the cigs as you mentioned in your first post. So maybe you need to go a little higher on the nic and find a flavor you like. Everyone doesn't find their flavor right away, either.

Just the switch from cigs to vapor is tough for some of us, tougher for some than others.

Hang in there, we all want you to quit smokin'.

According to a formula I read in the Nicotine section, you need about 2.5 times the nicotine from an e-cig than you'd get from analogs due to the loss in the vaporization process - the formula did the trick for me (I started out too low, also). If you smoked a pack of Kool Milds per day (at .9mg per cig, that's 18mg of nicotine per day), then you'd need around 45mg per day from the Vapor King. For example, if you go through 2 cartomizers per day, then you should probably be using 24mg cartos to start with (which would be a little less than 48mg). If you use more than 2 cartos, you could go lower, like 18's or 11's. Try vaping less or using lower mg cartos in the evening - it's easy to get too wired to go to sleep.

Finding the right flavors is an adventure unto itself. I was a Marlboro Medium guy, and really haven't ever found anything that tasted quite like burning paper, tobacco and the lovely FSC chemical they recently added. Of the tobacco flavors I've tried, I like 555 the best. But everyone's taste is different. The great thing is, there are a bazillion choices. Hopefully you will quickly find a couple that you can hang your hat on

I liked the taste, though it was a bit dry at first. I had to up my nic., I started at 18mg, I was a pach and half to two pack a day smoker, when I stepped it up to 36mg I had no problem putting down the analogs.
I really like the Kamel and LOVE the Parliament, the Cowboy is a bit to dry for me.
But I never was a fan of menthol so I am not much help there.

I think I would try the mint or the tobacco sampler. I would also pick up a 5ml tobacco flavored juice and a menthol juice. That way if you find a carto is too menty..add a couple drops of tobacco..same for the other way round. I vape 11mg to 0 nic..but I was never a full flavor smoker to begin with. But to me it sounds as though you should be at least at 11 to 18mg in order to feel satisfied. You can drop down as you feel more comfortable. very few on here stopped smoking the instant they picked up a P.V...it took me a week to "forget" to go outside for a smoke.

It really does sound like you need to increase the nicotine level. I started at 36mg and stayed there for almost 2 months. Now I'm ordering 24mg. I didn't want to risk turning to analogs because of cravings and I think it was a good strategy as I haven't had a single smoke since I picked up my Vapor King on October 16th!

I don't think I could have given up the analogs at 8mg. I have tried 18mg and I can barely taste it!

Also, try the Parliament cartos if you want a good tobacco flavor. You could just add a few drops of menthol juice and that might do the trick.

Good luck!
