Hi djsvapour - Thank you for the info. Do the knock off Innokins use the vaporfi logo?
I do not know the answer.

The e-cig which I think is a vaporfi Rebel II, my boyfriend bought off a guy for 45.00 ( gently used)
by the guy himself. It definitely had a portion of " porfi" left on the silver barrel/battery, the logo was warn away
probably from acid skin contact from the original owner.

As I chased the brands online, his certainly resembles the Rebel II, as it has the digital
window on the side. Where vaporfi Rocket does not. I am so glad to be part of this forum.

I agree with you, please keep sharing, as this is how these companies stay around.
By the unsuspecting buying once, to find out too late, they've been ripped off.

HeyTiger. I would call the Rebel II a knock off of the Innokin... that's the point.

Innokin (and Kanger and others) are just 'assembly factories'. Innokin invented the SVD and had all the parts made elsewhere for them. VaporFi get their products from the same places and then make the claim that all their products are made by/for them. In reality, every item in the VaporFi 'store' already exists in another identical form on sale from Innokin, Kanger, Aspire etc.

They sell an e-cig for $119.99 which they said "was" $279.99 until the stopped this nonsense. In reality it's the same as a $38.99 Kanger product available from thousands of retailers.

There is actually one unique product VaporFi sell. It's $199.99 and has a few flaws.... and yet, it gets 5 star reviews on over 50 websites. My Chinese friend says it's a $27 e-cig.

Anyway... $45 was a good deal, regardless.

Welcome to ECF!!! This indeed is a great setup. It can be set for just about anyone's preferences in vaping and with what the other people have said just start at 15 or so and work your way up or down testing what wattage range works for you.

i.e. 16 watts with a 0.5 ohm coil running at whatever voltage your istick is saying its at might be what they call your "sweet spot". The cool thing about the istick is the device knows the voltage it should put out by what what wattage you have it dialed at. You will find what works for you, just be patient and experiment t with the wattage and you'll get there.

On to what bothers me a little bit. The person at the vape shop recommending a 50watt istick and subtank to a new vaper? And to top it off not show them how to use it? And all its capabilities? Personally IMO this is not only irresponsible but greedy.

Well, not so much the iStick. It's just an adjustable battery. If you don't need the power, the excellent battery life is always welcome. I do strongly agree about the subtank. It requires a totally different method of inhalation than most smokers are used to and to thrust that on a beginner is asking too much at once IMHO.

Thank you Kevin, I almost today am " silly putty" that I am not able to focus on anything but Vaping.

I come from a family of smokers, both sides. My brother is a chain smoker, he and I are estranged.
My mother a chain smoker. My grandpa mom's side, he smoked cigs, but he more so enjoyed his pipe.
He was a light smoker of cigs. My grandma my mothers side never smoked a cig in entire life, she
died of pancreatic cancer when she was 56. My dad's mom a chain smoker. His father a smoker, he died before
I was born.

My dad smoked Camel's no filters from the age of 12. He born in 1932. He battled and I mean battled
with his cigarette addiction his entire life. He was diagnosed with early stages, emphysema.
He was how old? it was 1990, I was pg, my only baby, who is now an adult, my daughter.

He was 58 diagnosed with early stages. I am 49. My dad died in 2009. He had a heart attack, he home alone.

My mother is a chain smoker, she started smoking at 14, she born in 44. She has been diagnosed
with cancer how many times? 5. She has survived all, even breast cancer. She has not ever tried to quit.
I living with her, when I did once " get over the hump" that I was cig free for 2 wks, I went cold turkey.
She literally lost her mind, she did everything to sabotage me. She to blow smoke into my face,
she to light up at trigger times. She to say, you'll never quit. She hated the fact that I was winning
my own battle. It's really amazing the dichotomy of " addiction" when you're trying to quit, that
the other is against you quitting, for their own intensive purposes.

She smokes prob 2 packs a day, no lie. She smokes Menthol lights, and whatever is in her particular brand,
it's always made me want to puke. I could not be in a car with her, unless the window is all the way down.
It's so raunchy, ever since I was a kid, it's the brand, an inert ingredient within her menthol brand.

She and I do not have a relationship present day. Me to suggest she try vaping, just that I did
suggest it, she would shut it down. Now, if my adult daughter suggests it, possibly she
would try it.

- and yet, my own hate and despise of her odorous cig, I began smoking at age 19.
I have been smoking for 30 yrs. I pray that I can say in the next few weeks, I " past tense"
smoked cigarettes for 30 yrs.

My parents divorced in 1997. They married in 65. My dad to live on his own for the first time, 1997, the stress
and pressure off. He moved into an apt, he began his trials with quitting. He so wanted to quit. He did
everything, hypnosis. Motivational tapes. He to write sticky notes and place them everywhere. He to go
cold turkey countless times. He not a gum chewer, he never went that route, no patches. He to say
I have the will, I can. He would quit for a month, and then start back up.

He tried everything! I so wish he could have tried Vaping, I know Kevin had he had this option, he would
be alive today. He didn't have a cough, he didn't weeze, it was simply his ticker wore out from the pure
ingesting of the no filter cigs, for over half his life, the chems within them. My dad looked younger than
his calendar age. People didn't believe him when he said his age. He was very active. He was otherwise
all in check within stats, no issue with diabetes, he ate healthy, his weight was healthy.

The chems in the cigs slowly eroded him from the inside out.

I too am a Grandmother. I have a beautiful healthy almost 2 yr old granddaughter. It was 2wks ago
we had " ONE" day of sunshine, of actual heat above 65 degrees. I went to my daughters to visit.
We all 3 outside in the back yard. Was about 2 hours later, that I went to my car, I grabbed a cig.
I began smoking, that my granddaughter had never seen me smoke before.

I kept my distance, I was over 10 feet away. She stared at me, she squished up her nose,
she began making faces, she shook her head at me No, no, -she to notice the odor. Neither of her parents smoke.

Right there, her reaction killed me. My daughter is pg with her second due in June. Her house smells so wonderful
when you enter it. This is my granddaughters normal. Then magically within the next wk, my bf had bought
the E-cig. He not to force it, he to offer it to me. I was upon first vape, OMG - Where has this been all my life?

My birthday was days ago, I tired vape the first time, 2 days past my birthday, via my bf. ( I hug him)
It's been a whirlwind of so many emotions today, me of my first 24 hours. I know I have to be in withdrawals of carpet glue and
beaver urine etc, coming off of my pack of day, Cowboy lights, That my brain is firing off, so if I sound a bit blathering ..

My granddaughter - I have seen since that day I smoked in front of her. The next time she see's me, she
won't see me vape, I do not want her to confuse it with a novelty. I though now know, I can VAPE, outside,
come back in, not to have to scrub my hands. I can pick her up, love her and not have my dirty stank cig
residue rub off on her.

My intent is to weed down the Nic content, that I can Vape for pleasure, Nic free.
I have more to add on this subject, next post. I would love to know ppls thoughts on Nicotine itself.

Jseah, you're reading my mind. I am not sure what I am doing. I am along the lines of what you just wrote.

I need to adjust first to my set up Istick, before I go leaping around, to what is considered a lesser operating system, compared to
what I have right now. I may just take your advise, not open it, return it, credit my account.

Learn to use what I have, as I have not experienced it's capabilities yet, due to my limited knowledge / and too this juice I have
pretty much is ....... flat. :| I think a lot of my wishing "to try", the ordered Triton, is subliminal, it has to due all of it, and man
with this Juice I have, it's so Meh. (compared to the first Juice I did vape with flavor wise)

Thanks Jseah I appreciate constructive comments.

There are so many different juice companies out there, I'm sure you can find one you like. I think you just need to try going to a different vape store. When I started, I chose all menthol juices, since I was a menthol smoker. Since then, I switched over and now I am hooked on fruity juices. The ones I am currently using are:

Rise by Ruthless - mango, lychee and dragonfruit
Jungle Fever by Ruthless - mango, pineapple, and other citrus fruits
Dragonaire by Tasty Cloud - cantaloupe, dragonfruit, watermelon and menthol (the menthol is extremely light)
Voltage by Juice Guys - grape and raspberry creme (I normally don't like creamy juices at all)
Honey Do by Uncle Junk's - honeydew and other summer melons

WOW Tiger!......That's quite a history! One of my Grandfathers smoked Camel Non Filters, the Grandmother from the other side of the fam. smoked "cowboy killers" (Marb. Reds). My Dad smoked Luckys (non filter). All of them quit at some point along their way. My Grandfather died @ 64 from heart issues, Grandmother is 92 and still kicking. My Dad quit when I was a baby (43 years ago).

BOTH of my brothers and I WERE smokers.....My sisters.....NOT. I started vaping 4 1/2 yrs. ago on one of the worst ecigs available @ the time. I've gone through many different brands/types, but have NOT had a cigarette since the day that I started vaping. I got my brother to kick the habit about a year ago ( He was a 2 packer a day ), and my other brother has been vaping for about 6 months. I'm proud of what they've accomplished, as well as what I have. The first week was the hardest for me......then it just got easier and easier. Now.....I can't stand the smell of cig. smoke. LOTS of good people here to help you stay off the analogs (reg. cigarettes). I REALLY wish you the BEST in keeping cigarette free! :)

Serious Retro, as like Noway wrote first page. This shop I went to, the guy who sold me my set up. He scored a 2.
Kinda of a Rant on my part. Maybe if any owners, managers, employees, reading here, my first experience, was
short of limited expectations. I am not a hard person to please. It's all about the first greet.

I didn't have any expectations going into the store, as who I am is NEW to Vaping. My least expectations were not met
upon me entering the store itself. There was 3 Vape stores that came up in my area, that two were closer, the same
two to have crap reviews of disgruntled customers with photos taken from home *Yelp. This place had no reviews.

The two which came up, I went and viewed their fb's -they had little to no info. No followers. They both are less than
10 months in operation. One had a website that came up as blocked, that my security software tossed up a spider,
the website sited as corrupt umkay. So ... me thinking, they are not managing their own site?

Retro (Noway too) I entered the store, there was 5 bodies inside. One dude testing the testers, he left. The 4 inside, me inside,
the store itself is dinky. It was 2, 3 mins before an employee actually acknowledged me, as they were all banter
talking within amongst themselves. The woman got up from this huge high top table they were all seated at,
all very comfy cozy. She now behind the counter, - " Can I help you with anything" - I was WOW, that was not my expected
at all. I was, Wait, did I just cruise off the street, to walk into, or invade someones living room?

She not to say anything of Welcome to XXX Vapes, My name is, what is your interest? can I answer any questions nothing.

She stared at me as if I came in to ask to use their rest room. I felt like an ..... I asked her about her Juices, Dude instead
of her out right stating, we have ample selection of you to try, here's a sterile tip, she held back. She felt it was better? me
" stoopid" I don't know how this works, she stared at me, she to listen to me kinda sorta... she in her early 60's mind you.
She not to improvise, she to blankly look at me.

She to " finally understand my needs" she hands me the filthy battery and sterile tip.
I am trying endless flavors, I am over it, none of them are anything I would waste my money on. One of the bodies
got up, he about 20. He asked me if I had a preferred flavor. Imagine that? customer service from a stranger.
He evidently worked there. He brought out of the back room the tester of Kismet. It was not on the tester rack.
He I noticed prob had not showered in about a week. Sterile tester tip and all, I started seeing everything, I mean everything.

Back at the counter, the guy who sat the entire time at the big table, he heard me ask if they sold " kits" ( magic words)
he to bee line behind the counter. I swear it felt like a SNL skit. He to have ONE kit, that he was pushing the more
bang for my buck, the Istick. Upon me sharing I had purchased and was awaiting my Halo Triton. Okay fine.

A guy walks in, he with a set up, he did NOT buy from this store. He purchased it online, he rec'd it the day before.
He to speak to the woman, that he said it was Hot upon his using it, that the casing so hot, he not able to
hold it. " Time passed" my CC already ran thru, he" owner" totally walks away from me, upon the saleswoman's hysteria of this guys
issue.

That he (owner) who was in mode of showing me how to use my PAID for Istick, he was 100 percent within conversation with
his co-worker, with this guy, of this guy's plight. I stood there for nearly 10 mins, me 5 feet away. I on ignore.

He then came back, after I stood there for 10 mins, he said keep it at this number / that number - that was it.
He was just offering me random squawk. Have a nice day.

The guy they went round and round with: he made no purchase, he though had full attn of all 4 employees for
15 mins. The key was: I paid before the guy came in. The transaction was over upon the swipe of my card.

They must survive by first timers, that repeat customers are only if I have to, will I go there, for say an
needed and necessary in a pinch. Def not a serious crew, Not a place for customers who are in need of info, who are
wanting a place that is "integral within Vaping" as it it's obvious this is a fast clip. Every day week changing,.

They have the stock, they though are not invested, they not to put the effort forth. My guess they will be closed
(unfortunately by their own doing) before the year is out. SAD to Say - They could be SO much More. They way too
Comfortable leaning on persons like me, to pay their rent. No big picture in their sights.

My grandparents, built, owned and operated a Mom & Pop Grocery Store for 35yrs, I grew up in their store.
I was behind the counter age 4, which ironically is where they kept the cig cartons. I by age 5
knew every brand name of cig by color and packaging. It's boils down to you're either in this for a living
or your living this that you think that the product sells itself: do nothing extra attitude.

This my 2 cents, they won't last.
The Juice to put me over 100. The tank and Istick - Tank 37.99, the Istick, 59.99 (way over), - Juice " 22.bones" tax 7.20

- as Chris Rock so eloquently said once in his comedy routine, Man is as faithful as his options.
I could have spent 67.00 on a carton of Cigs, or - option two, put my $ where it benefited me more, that
I was able to walk in and walk out with a set up, vaping. Lumps taken :2cool: I learned, and so it is, this
store, " Never Again" - not even in a pinch. T

I wish that you didn't have such a bad experience with them......but like some places.....people are ONLY in it for the $$$$$. If it's any consolation to you, about the best price online from a U.S. vendor for a iStick 50w is about $45.00, and a Kanger SubMini is just under $30.00.....so SUPRISINGLY, That price for a "brick & mortar" store, is not too bad. The juice.....well if it tastes like crap then it's NOT worth anything (IMO).

Very Cool, I like Tangy Tart, anywhere from Razzle gum to Sweetarts, I have always gravitated
to what is a mix I guess. I too am a sucker for natural banana. The Voltage sounds interesting, Jungle Fever.

I don't know have you tried any of the Anna Mae's Juices?
or has anyone?

I ordered, have not rec'd yet- Blue Potion, Pink Potion, Nana's Pudding, Pineapple Upside down Cake, and
the Traveler, which is Lemonade/Strawberry/Grape blend. Me to share them of course, and possibly
add a few drops to one or the other for a new flavor. I prob won't go for the cream /creme either.

I am lactose intolerant, and Ice Cream has never been my thing, Popsicle's, Slushes, now your talking.

The Topic of Nicotine, within Vapes. Within Cigs, as we all know the rhetoric when it comes to " Surgeon Generals Warning"

My body, my self. I was born with issues within my gut. Lactose intolerant, food aversions to go with, that however whatever it
is my body rejects certain foods. I am of many years learning my own, I am a walking science project. I to finally figure it out
July of 2014, I am lacking key enzymes, that too my gut was filled with toxins, overflow of bad bacteria.
That within it all, I wasn't to absorb and digest " Fud" I simply was round.

That I began taking probiotics daily, me to benefit by leaps and bounds. I in less than 8wks, I dropped 20lbs, as a side affect.
" Belly gut and mid body" this all upon taking the probiotics daily. I did not expect the weight loss, all I was trying for, was
to balance my gut. I did not exercise. I within 10wks I felt 10 yrs younger. Serious. I look younger.

Why is this of Vaping, it's of the correlations. It's my past. That I have survived. Thank God.
10/1990. I found myself under the knife at 7am. This my first colon rectal surgery.

The surgery was to be outpatient ( I won't go into detail) - once the surgical team was " in" my outpatient turned
into a Fiesta. 8 hours I was under the knife. I was told my interior insides were of a 90 yr old female. I was 24.

My first surgery, ( not important to share) 2nd surgery came with side affects of the initial surgery, two
came more complications, myself now with a NEW surgeon. A surgeon who actually cared. He who saved my life. He
operated on me 10 times total. I had 11 surgeries in 10 yrs. I am due to him, I am ALIVE and surgery free since
2000. He to bring up more than once my smoking cigarettes.

He the only one willing to have an open dialog discussion about WHY I smoked, he Not once to say " You need to quit "
This not the typical, triggers of I smoke after I eat, yadda.

He asked me when do you smoke?
Do you notice within times of the day you do smoke, more so than others?
He asked me if I realized there was a correlation within my eating habits that I replaced
food with smoking. He truly was seeking answers, myself the only one with the information.
My weight at the time due to poor digestion, I was at times severely underweight.

He to inform me that Nicotine can be addictive to persons who suffer from irritated syndromes of
the gut, that it actually works within the human body medicinally. He to say to me, maybe it's not the cigarettes
at all, that it's the Nicotine that has suited you all these years, this the reason why you do smoke.

He to say that Nicotine once in the blood stream, it within a body that is
full of resistance, constriction, Nicotine causes the the adverse reaction, which is muscles release the
" tension" That he asked me when I am in bouts of severe intestinal cramping, he asked how do
you medicate yourself ? I replied besides cold sweats and pacing, I smoke.

He asked when do you feel the most severe bouts of pain, I replied when I am in situations
that I feel I am not up to my own standards, or that I am not in control of my surroundings.
I guess when I feel, that I am failing another person.

Which he asked me of my own history upon he " knowing my plumbing" he to ask me
when I was a kid, was I one who never shut up, or was I a kid who felt I wasn't to be heard.

This all ties in, both my parents smoked. My mother a chain smoker before I was born.
I to be around her 24/7 as a kid, before Kindergarten. That she was smoke machine, she to
smoke more when she was in anxiety mode. Which was pretty much all the time. That
my Surgeon said, when she smoked, you smoked. He meant my insides were on fire. My gut
to spasm, my body was always in clamp mode upon her anxiety, actions, me the observer of her

This was not his speaking of 2nd hand smoke.
He though to put the puzzle pieces together. I was the kid who didn't say anything.

He said to me, You are a bottler. You were trained to be a bottler. This nothing to do with
me being lactose intolerant, my food aversions. It did though have to do with how and why
I began smoking. I started smoking at age 19, I wasn't hooked until I was 21.

My grandpa passed when I was 19, this when I started smoking, here and there.

He said this all correlates to stress, anxiety, then when you began "intake" of Nicotine
by smoking cigarettes, your bouts of internal distress subsided correct? they weren't as
harsh, they became for the first time tolerable lessened?

I was of huge epiphany oh my god, yes he made sense. 11 operations, I am of zero diagnosis medically.
I was tested for all and any. I not ever have been diagnosed with: IBS, Colitis, Chron's, No
Cancer ( thank god). STRESS and lack of nutrients being absorbed into my body.

Upon my last ricochet, my body attacking itself, my last surgery 2000. Lets say it was a life
changing, thank god not life altering surgery. I was told before, that I may wake up with a perm
colostomy bag. Due to scar tissue ..my weakened insides by all and everything.
.
He my surgeon born in Ireland, he with his homeland accent ( he an amazing Man),
he said: after my last surgery, 2000, there is nothing wrong with you, that you yourself cannot change.

From this day forward, I want you to learn to express yourself. I want you to say what you mean
and mean what you say. I want you to verbalize when something excites you, when someone, something bothers you.
I want you to be who you are from the inside: to the outside. No more bottling. He to add, high fiber, water,
then again came the cigarettes. My offering is for anyone that may have the same issues, that what I was
told, that of my own chemical makeup, it all added. That my gut issues were tied to Why I began and became addicted to cigs.

He to me, I am not going to tell you to quit smoking. He said that he felt that Nicotine actually aided me.
Not cigarettes, but the actual Nicotine. Now this has come full circle yet again, 2014. Me on the probiotics.
I to lose 20lbs upon taking them. My grocery bill cut down by 40 percent. I do not eat as much. I no longer
have killer cravings late night. Why? because the food I do eat actually is absorbed. Now that the toxic
bacteria my gut was swilled with is no longer. That I know I require daily probiotics.

The now Vaping Nicotine, without all the Carcinogens, Nicotine is an appetite suppressant, along
with it being a muscle relaxant. I think this is finally all coming together. Am I going to
have reactions? I haven't felt them yet. I do feel a tad of anxious as if I am missing something.
My last full smoked cig at 1:30 on the 17th.

Myself not able to predict what the reactions will be? good bad or indifferent.
I am vaping at 12 nic. I to smoke Marlboro Special Blend Lights for the
last 8 months, prior was Marlboro lights/Parliament Lights, prior to was Marlboro Golds, near 30yrs .

I right now feel " almost too good" - that I don't know what to do with myself. My post of the
above of my own saga, I share that maybe my words, my past, my present would could help another.

Cigarettes again come with a warning label. We are not born with warning labels. Sometimes it
takes just one person to steer us where we've never ventured, we bound by our own self made blinders we
create (without realizing). All it takes is that one Angel nudge. That everything views positive, even
so if it's new. All in the matter of a day. Vaping now even for the short time, I feel " life" in a way that I forgot existed.

I am so thankful that this forum exists, for the great people here, for your informative " human" replies.
That this is a open table discussion, you the people here are Gold, it's all good. Tiger
