I stumbled onto this site looking for battery info for another hobby. Browsed around decided to give it a try. Ordered a Provari Mini. Another member here suggested I also get a backup. Last night I went to a local store and picked up a Cool Fire 1 and some juice.
I'm hooked. Haven't had a cig all day. Haven't even wanted one all day.

I had tried patches, gum nothing worked. This works ! Plus now I don't have to smoke a whole cigarette. I just pull out my PV and take a hit or two. I had quit smoking for a long time once before, then started back up again. My Birthday was last Friday and it had really been wearing on me that I had started smoking again.

Luck or grand design. Somehow I stumbled in here and found something that works for me.
Thanks everybody for your well wishes, words of encouragement and insights in my previous threads and posts. The E Cigarette forum and it's members rock ! You guys are the best !

Well said. Congrats.

I was smoking for 47 years until I tried a Blu. Then I got to ECF and I'm going on 6 months now without an analog.

Starting with a Provari was a bold move - and a very good one. I have 9 different mods now (2 Provaris) and they are still the ones I always keep coming back to.

Now you have entered the VapeMail zone my friend. Good Luck.

Thanks everybody ! I really like this Cool Fire 1. It's simple, was a good price point for me. The only thing I don't like about it is if I hold the button down too long while vaping it tends to overheat toward the end of the draw. If I cycle the button a couple of times during vaping it's perfect for my tastes. I'm hoping the adjustability of the one I have coming cures that. :)

It's really great to see the signatures with the number of days you have quit analogs :toast:

Good stumble and welcome to the vaping world! I like hearing how people have easily transitioned to eCigs. I just read a propaganda story this morning on how eCigs do not help people quit analogs and it made me a little upset. Almost everyone I know that tried to switch has switched and never looked back. I personally switch 10 months ago from a 1.5 pack-a-day habit of 35 years. I had one incident three weeks after switching in which I craved an analog. Long story short...I frantically vaped for a few moments and overcame the urge, haven't had that feeling since.

congrats adn vape-on!
