first 24hrs

Ok so Ive crossed over the first 24hrs without analog cig! Honestly its been VERY hard :-( Every minute it seems I am thinking about a cig wanting one soooo bad but I tell myself no and vape vqpe vqpe! I like the vaping it has definetly helped I would uave never made it this long without it! I have the epower by smoktech at sweet-vapes thanks to sailormans help. Been trying flavors to find some I love, however I also got from atty section on that website a extra silver and one blk atty now Im not sure but I think something is wrong with them both they smell and taste funny really bad the sec I push button they are fire hot cant touch and glowing orange all I can taste and smell is a burnt wire kinda smell and taste this is after getting past primere fluid.Is it possible to have 2 dud attys? Am I miss judging them? Since this happend with them I have not used them put them up. The 2 attys that came in the kit work great love them nothing like the other two! I wish I had more of those but will be making another order tonight to get a larger bottle of juice Im liking alot right now and a 510 clear tank Oh I also got some xl boge cartos to fill but dont really care for those the flavor

I had a similar experience. I purchased some strong 36mg e-liquid and tried dripping it. For me it was almost exactly like smoking an analog. I keep a varying assortment of e-liquid flavors and strengths. Since I'm a noob, too, I am still settling on a proper strength. I don't know what mg el-liquid you're vaping but you might consider a higher nicotine strength to see if it helps. One thing that helped me, as the line between smoking and vaping blurred, was that I became more attractive to the flavor of vaping. You're doing a great job.

I just made 1 month so I'm new myself,but it get a lot easier. First couple days are the hardest. I hate the smell of them now and I smoked for 35yrs.

After 32 years of smoking 1 to 2 packs a day, I too am headed to bed having not smoked for 24 hours!!!! This is &%$@!

Hi Moonlit, It does get easier. Take a look at your reciept for the two attys in question, if they list anything like"LR" or 2ohm or 1.5ohm they are supposed to get hot quickly and alot of attys have some funky liquid in them which needs to be cleared out so that they don't taste off with you liquid. Look for atty break in ,in the search tab there you should find some helpful info. Theres a learning curve when it comes to how you will adjust your own style and equipment for vaping. Everyones journey getting into vaping or more importantly dropping the analogs is different. Going the route you are traveling on this adventure is different from my own BUT I am certain you can get to a comfortable point to turn the corner to vaping. I am certain it is quite a challenge, just hang in there and keep stopping in here at ECF to let us know how you are doing.

Really awesome to hear two people made it through day one, I struggled my first two weeks really. Once you get past the learning curve, and fight of the strong urges you should find it pretty easy. Best thing I can suggest is getting a flavor you really enjoy, personally I think I had about 4 samplers at my disposal so I could change flavors on a whim lol. Great stuff, stick with it and it will only get easier and better.

They are 2.5 ohm debriged atty i took advice on cleaning out primor fluid when i first got them five of my juices are 30mg nic and four are 24mg and one freebie 0mg havent tried that one lol my fav juices what i have for first round is peach mapacho 24mg 40/60, banana split 30mg 40/60, and starbucks mocha 30mg 40/60 all from sweet-vapes.com

I was a 16 yr 1PAD smoker and I started vaping 5wks ago completely quit cig's 4 weeks ago. The first week I was vaping I still had some cig's around to help me out and I smoked about 1 each day for the first 4days. The one I lit up on the 4th day I couldn't even finish it was horrible. There was a brick and mortar store here in Tampa, FL called Vapor Rising and I thank them for setting me up with a starter kit that was easy, reliable, and pretty much no hassle. I still use it today, 2 ego 650mah batt's, 2 DCT, 6x 1.5ohm DCT cartomizers. I started with like a 28mg nic juice (80pg/20vg), stepped down to 18mg nic, and now moving to low nic juice and then no nic. E-cig was has definitely been the tool to help me quit. I noticed i wasn't as addicted to the nic and other chemicals in tobacco as I was to the action of smoking, so gums, mints, etc. wouldn't work for me.
