It's unbelieveable how fast the past year has flown by. It seems like only a few months ago that my Egos arrived in the mail.

Anyway, my story is pretty much the classic "I Quit the First Day" story.

Was a 2 PAD smoker for over 40 years. 3 PAD on the weekends. With my planned retirement coming up, I knew I had to do something, because I couldn't afford $18 a day on my retirement income.

I heard about the Smoke Assassin on a radio add and decided to check into it. Smelled like a scam, so I started doing some google research. Almost went the Greensmoke route, then I read the small print and cancelled out.

More research. Found ECF, and based on what I was seeing and reading, ordered an Ego starter kit and a few sampler bottles from Cignot. Stalked the mailman for 5 days lol.

Finally on Thursday, July 22nd, 2010, it arrived. I plugged it in, charged it up, filled the carts, blew out the attys and at 4 PM, had my last cigarette.

I'm still using Egos and Rivas, but switched to cartomizers several months ago.

Cigarettes are just a distant memory for me now.

Well Bozzlite congrats and our quit days are one day apart. July 21st for me and like you I was lucky and quit after the first day of getting my POS disposable. It took me little longer than you to find ECF but about 8 weeks in I stumbled into this forum. I agree the year went quickly! I can't say I saved to much $$$$$$ since I got bitten by the mod and DIY bug, but I have a boatload of cool stuff and feel 100% better. Nice to have a 28year 1.5PAD habit ($15/day here in good ole NY) behind me. Best of luck to you and here is to year 2! Hopefully I can respond to a similar post in another 12 months. Happy vapes
