I recently got my AGA-T + in the mail and had to wait for my kanthal to get here because no wire came with it
I bought a 100ft roll of 32awg kanthal wire and I am using the included SS mesh that came with my AGA-T +. Here is a video of my first setup after working out the hotspots and a 6 wrap on the mesh. My question is, anyone with experience with rba's do I have the setup correctly? Does the vapor production look good? any tips/tricks I should know?
EDIT: I forgot to mention its a 1.9ohm coil running at 4.5v on a provari with 50/50 Green Peach Tea from RAWR.

thats kickin! good job bet it vapes up a storm with the cap on.
if theres no hot spot and works/wick like its supposed to neatness or little things like a straight wick is not a requirement to enjoy a geni.

what will get ya nuts though is when the beginners luck wears off lol

thanks guys! haha yeah i have a feeling it was a fluke =\ i had to bend the coil it because I kept getting a hotspot on the length of wire running to the post and I read that it was easier just to bend the coil or buy washer. If i do less wraps will i get more vapor, the vapor production seems OK atm, but not blow me away amazing like I hear rba's should be?

do you have the airhole directly on the wick? putting out vapor like that with the cap off should put out big clouds.
since this is only a one shot in the video does it keep putting out like that after a few hits or does it die down?
i couldnt imagine that not being able to choke someone unless the wick is drying out after a hit or two.

what mg juice is it? you should be able to feel the nic, and dont be fooled by the vids all over the place many of those people are using very low resistance setups to get those super massive clouds. removing a wrap will usually just drop the resistance.

Looks pretty damned decent, especially for a first shot! Reminds me of my first try...then I got cocky and decided to wrap another coil/wick setup because I thought I had it down...guess what, beginners luck is true.

Took me a good 4 or 5 days to replicate/beat that first one, and thanks to the gurus in this sub-forum, I eventually did.

Very nice name btw...whereabouts from VA are ya?

If i pull the cap off and hold the button after for about 5-6 seconds the coils glow red before the vapor stops, it definitely wicks better with the fill screw off, i jsut dont wanna leave it on its side and dump liquid everywhere =(. I'm also DEFINITELY feeling the nic A LOT more. I upped my voltage to like 5.5/5.6 and its like a fog machine now! I need to slow down haha I'm over-nic'd for sure! btw my SS mesh is 500 i believe and i rolled a hollow wick just small enough to fit in the hole. I get it now, I understand why there is such a cult following behind RBA's!

Next time you roll your wick, make sure you roll it so the grain of the mesh is going vertically, and try rolling a solid-ish wick..."not a log, but solid-ish" -Trasher

I've found it works extremely well with a 50/50 blend of juice, which is what I vape exclusively. I started off rolling hollows (paper clip sized hole in the middle) and it wouldn't keep up with my chain vaping...defying all logic it would seem like. but the solid ones supply PLENTY of juice, I can go multiple 10 second fires without getting a burn hit...it's bliss!
