Visited my first dedicated vape shop in the area today. Previously, it has been mail order or a smoke shop that also sells vapes.

Store was empty, with a very young person behind the counter. I asked for zero nic, and he told me they had every juice in zero nic.
I chose one. He searched and searched, and finally came back with a small bottle that I purchased.

When I got home and opened it, I could see that the bottle was already opened. There was a plastic ring that was already broken.
I should have thrown it out right there. I plowed ahead like an idiot, started vaping it, and really, really enjoyed the flavor.
Then when I started taking some deeper puffs, I started getting a harsh throat hit that I never felt before with any of the other juices.
I also started feeling something I never felt before. I had to conclude - I'm pretty sure there's nicotine in this. I looked at the bottle, and there wasn't any zero nic option on the bottle - just 6 to 24.

I'm throwing it out. I'm pretty sure I just vaped half a tank of juice with nicotine. Nothing for some of you, but a big and not good deal for me. Not happy.

I would not throw it out. I would take it back to the B&M so they can learn not to do this to people. Could have been an honest mistake but still one that needs to be rectified. The broken ring definitely should have thrown up a flag. Thank you for posting this because I am sure that it will help others learn from your experience. I am so sorry but I demand good customer service, whether it is in person or on line shopping. Good luck to you.

Yeah, I'm afraid I don't have that in me. If I spent 20 dollars, it would be something else, but as a 5ml bottle, they only charged me 5 dollars, and I'm just going to count it as payment for a lesson learned.

I blame myself - for not paying better attention, and, for going to the place in the first place. I knew I didn't belong in those places, and this confirmed it for me.

The store was empty at a time when it should have had customers. I'm sure it will be closed inside of a couple of months.

Anytime I walk into a new specialty shop, I ask some innocent questions to test the staff. Not so much their level of knowledge, but their level of BS

In a vape shop, I'll ask about some of the new products, things I've been researching. PG/VG, nic levels. Couple questions about sub-ohming. If I get any BSing from the clerk, they won't get any money

Been getting all my gear from Sweet Vapes (they're fairly local to me), and they have never tried BSing me about stuff. Much prefer dealing with someone willing to admit they don't know something

I've ordered from them online a few times great service and reasonable prices.
