First Batch

So i just made my first batch of e-liquid and i was wondering how long should it steep (10ml bottles all fruit flavors) now i but 1ml water,1ml flavor and 8ml VG. I have read some people say 3 weeks but there mix is 70%pg 30%VG or 50/50 so just wondering 3 weeks or long.
