Just had to share! I bought 120 ml of 36 mg nic liquid from GV (Box Elder) and some PG and VG. Got a few simple basic flavors to start with. Wanted to make a trial run at 0mg, 6mg and 12mg. I already had some pre-mix at 16-18mg so don't need it right now.

Started by mixing 30ml of 75/25 PG/VG 0mg base. Took a 5ml bottle and put .5ml raspberry flavoring and about 4.5 ml of base liquid. Nothing else at this point. Shook the daylights out it and dripped a few on the atty...Wow! The 0mg has a decent flavor and nice vapor. Not much of a TH of course. I think it needs to steep awhile for the flavor to mature a bit but I'm more than satisfied!
Next, made 20ml each of 75/25 base liquids at about 6 and 12 mg. Used another 5ml bottle and put .5ml caramel flavoring with 5 drops of french vanilla then added nearly 4.5ml of the 6mg base. Shook it up good and dripped a bit. Decent flavor although a bit weak but with a noticeable TH. Added a few more drops of caramel and a couple of vanilla. Brought the flavor up a bit but nothing that hits me in the face. I guess caramel is like that? Still a very pleasant vape right from the start! Haven't done anything with the 12mg base yet. I'm gonna wait until I get some more flavors. Also want to see what effect steeping has.

Both batches are vapeable right now if I really wanted to and both taste as good if not better than most of the simpler flavors I've tried from any juice vendor. I'm sure I'm missing an ingredient or two to give these a more complex flavor but I'm happy neither batch tasted like crapola!

My goal was to see if I could mix some simple yet tasty juices in a variety of nic strengths...and do it inexpensively. It has been a success on all levels so far!

Thanks to all who either knowingly or unknowingly got me going in this direction!

Now, the search begins for a decent RY4 type recipe.

Congratulations! It is such a great feeling to make your own juice and it actually tastes good :) Not to mention that it will really save you a lot of $ :) Don't know if you saw this or not
DIY Recipe Book

Thanks! Yeah, it really is a good feeling and so easy. Can't wait to try a few more flavors! Hardest part was finding some bottles of the right size. Will also save a ton of money too! With the little bit of stuff I have on hand already, I can make about 240 ml of decent tasting juice at a total cost of about $28 if I don't buy another thing! That would get me thru at least 4 months of vaping if necessary.

Thanks also for the link. I hadn't seen that yet. Some great recipes in there!
