quetion is should i fully charge riva 750 mah first or charge partly then use some then fully charge it have read to do both ways not sure which is correct ty

You can use it with a partial charge. There is no "memory" function to Li ion batteries. The worst things you can do to Li ion batteries is to continue to charge once they get past 4.2V and to allow them to drain beyond their low cutoff voltage. I am sure there are protection circuits built in, so no need to worry too much. But with the cheap Li ion chargers I generally still try to pull the batteries off the charger when they are done most of the time. You also don't want to leave drained batteries uncharged for a long time to allow the voltage to drop even further. But generally, just use them and enjoy!

You mean keep them on the charger after they're charged? I sometimes put a battery on the charger before I go to bed. I shouldn't do that?

I didn't mean to worry you. :) Technically, in a perfect world, I would pull them when they were done charging. But, technically, the protection circuit should prevent overcharging. So ....

If you can take them off the charger when they are done, I would;

If you put them on the charger when you go to bed, I would pull them off in the morning.

You don't gain anything by leaving them on the charger after they are done. But I also would rather take the route that is most convenient and buy new when you have to. :)
