Hi everyone. I've been lurking and trying to figure out all the ecig info as they were totally unknown to me just a week ago. But in reading here, I narrowed it down and placed my order. I just got my 501 in the mail!! WooHooo... I'm SOOO excited, and I hate the thought of waiting for it to charge, and that's actually my first question.

I know I saw somewhere here (Spikeys video perhaps) about charging for 12 hours the first time. My paper says 3 hours and "DO NOT OVERCHARGE". Should I ignore this and take the expert advice....from here?:)

Did I mention how excited I am???:w00t:

Start using it now. When the light on the battery flashes 15 or 20 times put it on the charger and use the spare battery if you got one. When the charger light turns from red to green it's done. Don't worry about how much time it's on the charger. It's really not possible to overcharge with these. When it's fully charged the charger will cut off and the light will be green.
