first build help

first off, im starting a build using a omega clone and a nemesis clone. after a hassle on ebay of being sent a bad mod im up and running, kinda. i built a 24 gauge "sleeper" coil. 6 wraps, and umm..... it ohmed at 0.7.... why? i was expecting a lot higher. im using a EFEST IMR 18650 HIGH DRAIN 35A RECHARGEABLE Li-MN Battery 2500mAh F.T single. . what issues am i looking at.

i dont have max vg juice in yet so i havent tried it yet. Also i need to add im using a good multimeter (i feel its more accurate than the cheap screw on ohm meters for vaping,) i know that most everyone uses the vaping ohm meter but i feel at 200$, my multimeter should provide a more reliable number( its preference thats all)

Well 24 ga is fairly low resistance wire. It also depends on what size mandrel or drill bit you are using. Since you are just starting to build coils on a mech, I hope you are aware of the dangers of using low resistance coils. That said, try a couple more wraps or a larger drill bit. Remember dual coils you halve the resistance not double, that's probably why it seems so low.

Yup, that's right. If the build is like this, it is wired in parallel and will halve the resistance.

Don't forget when using a multimeter touch the leads together with nothing and you might get 0.1 ohms.

That's probably your difference. Coils also change after their first fire too.

Lead resistance from meter is most likely answer.
