I went to the local B&M today and decided I wanted a carto tank. I decided on a Smoktech UDCT with a Pyrex tank. Im using 900 mah ego batteries. I could see a difference over my clearo right away. The people behind the counter showed me how to fill and prime it. When I first tried it I was using a battery that I had been using for a few hours and I still got more vapor then I did out of the clearo on a full charge. Decided I would get some new juice to try it with so I tried a couple samples and picked Sweetie Tart(18mg) made by The Next Vapor Spot. Best juice I have had so far(only tried a few flavors) and it may be my edv. I find myself vaping it just for the flavor and have to force myself to put it down. Does anyone else have experience with this tank? Any good or bad things about it? Did I pick a decent item? Any input is appreciated.

I've never used that particular tank but I have used the Smoktech Pyrex DCT tank (with the aluminum sleeve) and I've had really good results so far…tight o-rings, no leaking. Once the o-rings go it'll have to be tossed because the caps are sealed but oh well…they're good starter tanks. Now I pretty much use IBTanked tanks and Ikenvape cartomizers (Platinums). You should try to pick some up because they're often out of stock and they're currently available (I think). They are great carts.

I think you'll be pleased with the cartotank experience…so much less fiddling than with clearos.

I was told that I can use only the smoktech carts in it because it is a locking tank. I plan to upgrade to a better tank later but I just wanted to get into it first and see how I liked it. And for the record I LIKE IT!

That's right…I forgot that's a locking tank. My bad.
