Hi there, just got my new riva in the mail today. It did not come with instructions which is fine if but I remember reading something about a whole first charge battery routine. Is this nesisary, I think it was something like charge for 2 hours vape 20 mins then charge full 8 hours and disregard the lights. I also remember reading something about this beeing bs and not helping one bit. Any info would be much apericated, I don't wanna mess my new baby up on its first day of life lol.

They should come half charged, so you should top them off. You don't need to do anything else fancy, these kinds of batteries don't have problems with memory, or anything like that.
The instructions with my Riva said charge for 8, use for 20min, charge for another hour.
Does the battery have the 5-click protection mechanism? I found that my eGo batteries I just received have it.
A lot of instructions that come with the e cig reprint of older stuff. With these batteries all you have to do is charge till the light either turns green or goes off depending on your charger and/or battery. Good luck
