First coil build and success on protank clone

Wow 200%difference. Was feeling kinda blah about vaping the last few days. My 28g Kanthal came today. After dinner I made a micro I guess you would call it. About 8 wraps and no spaces . Vapor production is so much more. Takes a second to heat but once hot it's great. I think next wick I'll boil to see flavor difference. Kind of medical tasting. I used a cotton ball. Ohms out at 1.7 . My only failure was the 50 feet of wire that unspooled in the kitchen

Sweet! Get some organic cotton from cvs or other drug store. Another thing to try, if you're up to it, is drilling all the holes a little. Like the center pin in the head and the little ones on the threaded base. Lets a little more air in and makes more vapor. I did that for the wife's and she loves it!

I think my air intake is good now it pulls pretty freely.if I drill I think it might be too much.
Organic boiled cotton next time, but I was way too anxious anyway.now I have time to gather more supplies
My wick was perfect I think because zero leaks so far. I only compressed it enough to fit right though the coil. same diameter as the coil but still fluffy.

If you do have problems with air flow, get the Kanker Aero base. Discount Vapers carries them.
