Finally got my DID today... after making a coil and putting it on the Provari to check it, I got an E1 code. I'm thinking the coil was touching the bottom positive post nut causing a short, so its back to the drawing board. I'm gonna need to make a longer wick so the 1st coil is above that nut...
I REALLY wanted to bring it to work with me tonight but at least I can have fun with it when I get home in the morning.
On a positive note, The DID is beautiful!! AWESOME build quality and looks great with the clear tank.

Need some help troubleshooting... wrapped 2 more coils and each time i got the E1 code on the Provari. I adjusted the first coil to make sure no points were touching the center post except the end of the wire thats supposed to, same with ground. wrapped 4 even coils. It worked for about 30 seconds, then i filled it, put the top on and boom, back to the E1 code...
The second coil wrap resulted the same way...
Whats my issue here. it seems i wrapped it the same way scott does in his review but its not working for me...
please help

success... i think the problem was the wick not being oxidized enough...

Success now,failure next time :)

1 thing you can try, wrap the portion of the mesh that protrude out the tank with 2 layers of rolling paper (wet the mesh so the paper sticks and get wet) then wrap the coil on that....burn it,blow it off, vape on your 1st attempt!

You can also tailor your piece of paper to a lenght that will prevent your mesh from touching the bottom, keeps it aligned and stable!
