Hi guys. I really don't know much about e cigarettes but I bought a kr808d-1 anyways.
There are some fundamentals that I don't really get.
How do I know when A cartridge-atomizer is completely used (I heard a sizzling sound last time i used it so is that an indicator or something?)?
How do I get a different flavor, for example if a want to switch to a butterscotch flavor do I have to get a blank cartomizer/pre-filled or can I use a depleted non-butterscotch cartomizer and fill that up?
Also, my e-cigarette is not making as much vapor as it should, am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Cartomizers can last a long time if you keep them wet with juice. If you let them go dry the filler will singe and that will ruin the taste of your juices. You can switch flavors with similar flavors with little notice but say you want to put butterscotch in a strawberry cart you will get a blend of flavors for a while.

If you aren't getting the vapor you did earlier your carto may be drying out. If you have refilled them already you may have flooded them. Sizzling is normal but if it gurgles it is flooded and needs to be blown out to work properly again.

That's the best way. Buy blank cartomizers and fill them yourself. V4L cartomizers are good cartomizers, but they also sell cartomizers at Ikenvape, LiteCigUSA and many other vendors. Just look for blank KR808 cartos.

What kind of juice are you interested in? What type of flavors? Tobacco or fruit or sweet?

I get my juice from nhaler, Backwood Brew and Vapor Bomb.

I use 808D-1's and fill my own blanks. I would suggest reading a lot of the discussions of e-juice on this site. You will start to see 5 or 6 e-juice vendors names pop up regularly. Try those that you see mentioned often. Plus, most e-juice vendors sell samples or 5ml bottles of juice which you can customize the pg/vg ratio and nic level. Those usually cost about $4-5 per bottle, but it is better than having to gag down 60ml of something you don't like.

I have been vaping with 808's for nine months and think they are great. I found many places to get good quality inexpensive parts.

You can also buy many flavors of prefilled carto's. One very important thing. When you get a bottle of juice let it "steep" for a couple of weeks. The flavor is much better when you do that. It may be disappointing at first but many times it tastes fantastic after steeping. Sorry for the long answer and feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

If you bought auto batteries you need to be extremely careful when you fill or refill cartos and make absolutely sure the carto is not going to leak before you put it on the battery. KR8 manuals also have a hole in the end of the battery but autos are much more easily disabled or killed if you get juice on the end of the battery since autos are totally dependent on a drag sensor in there.
