First Day Vaping, First Impressions

The 510 I ordered came in today. I was so excited! I first vaped Watermelon flavor my sister had brought me. Instant love. It wasn't so much the flavor as the fact that vaping is something I can live with. The real loving flavor today was blueberry muffin. What a decadent flavor!

It's been 9 1/2 hours since my last analog. I have never gone that long before without serious DTs. I have experienced some lightheadedness and a little headache, determining that 24 mg is not for me, or I should vape a little less. I have been vaping a lot and killing my battery in about 2 1/2 hours. I'll back off more in a few days, if I can, and consider a PT.

I am just starting to have a little craving for an analog, but I think about going for over 9 hours without one, and how my children are happy to see me do something other than smoking. I can do this. I can stay strong. I LOVE my new 510! I can hardly wait until my eGo comes in!

cool, and yeah I wish I got the ego right away, would have saved me some $, those 510 stock batteries are a joke, I have a hard time not vaping too much too in the evening, especially if i'm having a drink! It's just so novel and cool!

Congrats on your entry into vaping. You will definitely like the eGo. I skipped the 510 and went straight to it. I can vape constantly for a good five hours on a single battery. You can also get the 900 mAh batteries for the eGo for even longer life. It took me a week of vaping to put analogs down for good. Hang in there. If you want it, it will happen.

Good job, not all of us could give up analogs our first day of vaping so if you break down and have one, don't beat yourself up. How I handled it, when I had a bad craving, I would vape for 15 minutes and see if I still needed one. More times then not I didn't need it anymore. You will get there and any analog you didn't smoke is a victory, so losing the battle with one smoke doesn't mean you will lose the war.
Got my eGo last week and I don't know why I didn't do it sooner, they are awesome.

Yeah I started on 24mg I think thats common - it was way too much for me (headaches and the runs werent fun lol) and I eventually ended up at 12mg which i can vape all day without either side effects or cravings; I was an ultralight smoker though, that level of nic isn't the 'best' for everyone.
There were no eGos when i started vaping but i found my PT was a godsend when at home - it was probably why I didnt upgrade my PV until a couple of months ago

i use my PT in the car connected via lighter USB and can make the day on 2 510 Bats
