First DIY mods: a tale of 3 flashlights

Ok, so I've been searching ecf looking for flashlight modding info/tips FOREVER, its already been like 20 minutes and I've found very little, so i gave up and decided to beg and plead for help b/c I'm lazy.

Not really, but I'm sure a lot of that goes on here.

Hi Modders, the truth is, I have a pretty good idea of how I'm going to mod these 3 flashlights into PV's, I have a VERY experienced friend helping me, and I thought this would be a fun place to share my progress and glean some feedback or solutions should we encounter problems. I will post pics later tonight or early tomorrow of the 3 flashlights in question so we can follow them on their journey. I've been a flashlight junkie for YEARS, and I've got drawers and boxes of the things just sitting around, so instead of listening to rediculous, irrational, and just plain silly suggestions from my wife like "throwing them away", "giving them away", etc... I've decided to once again take over the dining room table and let my geek flag fly!

Tune in later to see the initial pics and plans for modding. I have two small children and a demanding job so no overabundance of "spare" time here. I will work on/update this project as I am able(hint: it may take a few months). Thanks for looking - see you soon

2 single AA flashlights, and one double AA flashlight fated to become PV's. We've already removed the switches from the tail caps of the two smaller units and sourced some li-ion cells to fit. Seen here next to Vamo and Chi-yu for size comparison
