First dna200, maybe not...

I've recently been very close to purchasing my first dna200, there's just 1 thing holding me back.

Battery life, it almost feels like a scam... why should I purchase a dna200 but have to vape it with a subtank on 35watts in order to ensure the battery lasts the day.

For a £150 mod I should be able to vape my x2 0.19ohm stapled fused Clapton build on my velocity at 120watts all day long and still have 70% remaining for tomorrow.

At first I was settled on the vaporshark, and then changed my mind to the lavabox... Luckily I waited, and gave myself time to realise that instead of impulse buying a shiney dna200... I need to consider the practicalities...

I've come to the realisation that the Wimsec reuleaux dna200.. In all of its bulk and ugliness... Is the only valid option right now.

I find this really annoying.

the wismec reuleaux 200 uses 3 18650 batteries.
The more batteries you have the longer it will run.

If you wanna vape all day at home without changing batteries you can do like me and rig up your own plugin to the wall.

I don't wanna vape all day at home, I need a mod that can vape all day at 100watts+ out on the go.

It's 2016, and given the price of high end mods... this SHOULD be possible.

Like you already figured out, you need the wismec 3-battery mod.
More batteries = more vapetime.

If you bought a two battery mod, you'd just need to walk with a second pair of batteries.

You can do it.

If you REALLY want it.

But you'll need a couple deep cycle lead acid batteries in a back pack and a STRONG back.

The mods aren't the problem.

Battery technology and your expectations are.

Hell, just over a decade ago, you'd need batteries stacked on a little red wagon tied to your waste just to hit that wattage at all. It's nothing short of a miracle you can do it with something you can lift with one hand let alone carry in your pocket.

I guess to make my points more clear. What I'm actually saying is the likes of lavabox, vaporshark, hanamodz etc etc inc the other dna200 mods using lipos - are useless disappointments when taken out of the home.

I'm betting someone (clueless) is going to pop in and tell you you're going to die in a fire because you used the word lipo.

But!

You could install micro deans connectors and swap batteries when one runs low if you're capable.

The RX200 is sexy mod. Especially when paired with a black Uwell Crown!

Lithium Polymer batteries in the dna 200 are a three cell battery, but if you don't understand how (or why) the max continuous rating is calculated, I don't even think the DNA 300 could help you ...................

No way will any mod, even with 3 batteries, last you all day, running those kind of watts.

I get 1- 1/2 to 2 days out of my Reuleaux DNA 200, mind you I don't vape at 100w, or consume 30-40ml of juice a day.
Even so, at 100w you'd have to be chain vaping the hell out of this thing to suck it dry before you got home from work. I think my lungs would collapse before my mod would run out.

It's techie, it's cool, made for the tinkerer or the hard-core Mod Tuner.
I understand the appeal, and considered saving to get one, but decided that I just don't need my vaping to be that complicated.

Just saying, the cuboid has the adjustable TCR without Escribe, and if it last you all day, what more would you need ?
Balanced charging, no thank you, I'm good with my xtar's ...............

Nahh, I got the gist that your question wasn't rhetorical. ;)
You have a source for the xtar? I'm in the market for a good charger in my next round of vaping purchases.

I beg to differ, I get over 24 hours on a Reuleax R200 at 100+ Watts on a tfv4 The extra battery really adds stability and battery life.

Also guy who works at the Vape Shop reported 2 days and 1/2 at around 70 Watts.
