Hello!
Im about to build my first ever coil.
I do have an ohm meter and im gonna use 28gauge kanthal.
I wanna know if im going to make a dual coil setup than approx how many wraps should i do for each coil on a 2.0mm screwdriver to get around 0.8 ohms?
P.s i dont know what people mean when they say it like this >> "7/6" (noob alert) so i just wanna know how many times i should wrap the wire around the screwdriver for each coil.
Thanks in advance.

What I do is.

Hold about 3/4 of a inch of wire and start winding the coil try 6 turns.
Then with out cutting the wire touch the lead of the multi meter to appx. Where your lead would be if it was screwed to the atomizer.
get the reading and adjust from there. You will notice as you move the test leads up the wire it will go up in ohms. The screwdriver I use for coils a 6/7 give me about 1.6 ohm and 7/8 i get about 1.8 ohms.
Since I don't sub ohm I will not get into that part.

Some experts will be by soon with great advice.
Please read the info and learn from it

Hi

You didn't say what battery device you are using or what watts you plan to run it at, but keep in mind that while dual coils halve the resistance, the amps for each coil remains the same. Just to clarify, two 1.6Ω coils wired in parallel will equal 0.8Ω resistance, but the amps will draw what it takes for a 1.6Ω coil twice.

I sure remember my first one. It is such a good feeling. There are bunches of good coil calculators out there for the computer or your phone. Here is a chart I like to go by. It might help. Hope it does. Look forward to reading about the wonderful feeling you are going to have when you make your coil, check it and use it and it works.
