Hey all,

This mod is quickly becoming THE most sought after device on the market and rightfully so. It is cheaper than any VV device I know of on the market and gives the everyman a chance to own a slick looking VV device that won't break the bank.

I have known this device was going to hit the market for a few months now thanks to members of this forum and I am pleased to say I received the device today from CDN Vapor.

This is only a first impression and not a full review but I will give my honest opinion of the Mod so far.

First Impressions of the CDN Vapor VV Mod

FINALLY I have this mod (only took the mailman until 3:45 to deliver it!) after purchasing it on Monday. I have wanted a VV device since they hit the market but the "want" has always been displaced by the price. I mean, I could scrimp and save, spend nearly $300 (or more) on a Darwin or a Provari.. but it's not really a necessity. Well, since this PV is around $110 I just HAD to have it. I mean VV for just over 1/3rd of the price? SOLD

So far I am impressed. The threading is perfectly set and solid, the display is nice and bright and the buttons mostly work perfectly. The only issue I had was my "+" button got stuck but that seems to have worked itself out and I haven't had it stick again. Also the paint is already coming off on the "+" button as well but I am not really that worried about it.

It feels solid, well built, the battery doesn't rattle at all and it doesn't look like it is a cheap device by any means. The buttons work and work well! Also, the switch is wonderfully clicky and low profile so there is literally no gripes all around for this unit.

So far I have this puppy rocking 4 volts on my Hero atty and it is a complete vape hog. I have tried a 2 ohm Boge carto at 4.4 (and that is simply heaven) as well as this funky 3.5 ml LR Vision carto, all with awesome results!

I couldn't be any more pleased with my purchase and as I have discovered I love variable voltage! Now with the press of a button I can dial in the exact voltage I want on any atty or carto and never have to worry about the ohm rating on anything again. Talk about making it easy. If what I want is only in stock in a high ohm rating I can simply buy them instead of my usual :)

I will have a complete review of the device in the next week after I test the atties that came with it and will give a very thorough report.

Thanks for reading! Time to give myself the Nic-Ups

So this is really variable wattage right? Does it display the voltage or the watts?

If it's voltage, say you set it 4 volts and switch from SR to LR. Would the volts go down to match the wattage of the previous vape?

Just a little confused about that because you talk about setting the volts, but later talk about dialing in the wattage.

Sorry concat, it is a variable voltage mod, but I am all about the wattage and doing the math involved with the resistance and voltage ratings. I suppose I should edit that out of the review lol.

The voltage stays exactly the same no matter what you put on it, so if you put on an LR from using an SR you would get a much harsher hit. Sadly we don't have a cheaper Darwin on the market... YET!

Hey Noiz. I'm with ya exactly with the "want" and "need" situation. I've also thought about the higher end vv mods, but just couldn't really pull the trigger because of cost. But when this baby come on the market, how could I say no? All I can say, is I'm impressed! It's a solid device that does what it says it does, and for $110, it's a steal in my mind!
