    in a cave, eh?
    Sure, I'd say. I'd recommend you top up your purchase with either: 3 ohm cartomizers, 510 cartridges or a 510 drip tip. The device is pretty new, so there may be a few unknown issues with it.

    Oh, and when you're charging your flat-top battery, the small recessed button is the positive end. There are no indicators on the battery and no instructions supplied with the kit.

    hey all, I am wondering if any of you use a carto tank on your Lavatube and if so then which one? I don't want to use dual coils on the LavaTube so that I don't stress the circuitry so the smoktech DCT is out... Anyone have any suggestions?

    Ughh. I just bought a Lava tube from Canvape and got a Smoktech DC tank. Are you saying I shouldn't use this on the LT?
    Tom didn't mention anything to me about it not working.

    I know someone who has been happily using a smoktech dc tank on a lava tube for over a week. He seems pretty happy with it.

    I may be missing something here but I don't see why it should be a problem, just because you CAN run it at more than 4.2 volts doesn't mean you have too. I recon the best feature is the regulated voltage output. No drop as the battery steadily discharges :) I have a smok tank on my epower and it definitely drops in performance over the day.

    Check out this video from Nic Fit Nation, another supplier and another reputable one like CanVape;

    If you watch this video in it's entirety you will hear him state the LavaTube can't handle dual coils.

    The reasoning behind this is the electrical theory behind it, the two 3 ohm coils wired in parallel equate to 1.5 ohms and the resulting amps that are drawn will stress the circuitry and possibly damage your mod.

    You can use the DC cartos on the lavatube but you won't be able to run them at more than 3.7V (even if you crank it up to 5V the protection circuit will kick in and lower it to about 3.7V).

    The switch is only rated for 2.5A
    current = I = V/R = 3.7/1.5 = 2.467

    Someone please correct me if I'm wrong :)

    Your accessories will connect to the L-Rider vv without requiring an adapter if the screw threads are the same as the Joye 510 model.

    Low-Resistance atomizers draw more current (amperage) than a regular atomizer, which generates more power (watts) and makes your juice hotter. Hotter juice creates more flavour and vapour.

    The downside is that your equipment must be wired to handle more current or you will fry the atomizer and/or the circuitry in your L-Rider. Fortunately, the L-Rider has circuit protection to reduce the risk of frying your equipment. Your VV PV is designed to generate more wattage by increasing the voltage. You're safer using 3 ohm atomizers or higher on your VV PV.

    I'm sure if you dropped it from too high of a surface that it could do some damage
    I pulled mine out at work where we have hard concrete floors, I dropped it from about four feet up, but my reflexes kicked in and I managed to ALMOST catch it. In doing so I sent it an additional 3-5 feet hurling into the air. It landed and made the atty connector ever so slightly off axis. No cracks or dings though. So yeah it's fairly durable.

    Well even though it sucks that you dropped it, it's good that at least it's still working and the damage is minimal. I've only had mine fall off the table twice but it still is in the exact same condition it was in when I bought it, save the paint coming off the buttons.

    Even though I was quick to pump out this review (due to time constrictions I am under right now) nothing has changed in my opinion and I still think this mod is the best bang for your buck.

    My Lavatube is on its way! should have it by tuesday, very excited. I just stocked up on boge LR cartos though, have about 24 of them haha. Will have to invest in some higher ohm stuff after i pay off all my vaping bills :)
    nah set her to 4.2 and your golden
