Besides the enjoyable taste factor, I consider a good hit off of an e-cig to consist of a mild-to-moderate nicotine rush combined with a mild-to-moderate amount of visible vapor; and, in this regard, the Nebula performs beautifully. In fact, I find the smooth and easy draw of the Nebula to be quite comparable to an analog; maybe even easier. Of course, as the amount of juice in the cartomizer gets reduced, the effort required to get a good hit is increased; but I have found that doing nothing more than a double or triple stutter-draw is all that is required. And even then, it is quite effortless.

I ordinarily vape with a 24mg coffee juice, but I have found the 16mg cartomizers that come with the Nebula to be quite comparable in terms of nicotine rush. I think it may have something to do with the fact that the Nebula is far more efficient than my 901. (Rather than a small nichrome coil couched up in a small ceramic dish, the Nebula cartomizers actually have a straight nichrome wire - better than an inch long - that runs up through the center of the cartomizer.) I have also found the taste of the Carolina cartomizers to be quite enjoyable.

Bottomline: I am thoroughly pleased with my new Nebula, and am definitely glad that I chose to stick it out with Ben. :thumb:

UkUsa,

I ordered a set of "High Strength" cartomizers, and what I got was 24mg.
------------

ingenieur,

The manual states that the batteries should be charged for 8 hours on the first charge, and 3-4 hours thereafter. Which is exactly what I did - even though my charger light turned green after about an hour. :?:
------------

Skad,

Good deal. I think you'll be glad that you did.

I recommend topping off through the threaded side. From a nearly empty cart they can take 15 drops or so...Put it aside and let it soak in a bit for best results, and you'll be rocking a like-new cart :)

Ah, one thing to make sure you do is have it off a flat surface, otherwise the air hole (mouth side) gets blocked and doesn't allow the liquid to come through easily. I find the process easier and a hell of a lot more tidy than refilling any other type of cartridge!

Yep, it couldn't be easier! I refilled my loongtotem disposable carts the same way and it is much cleaner and easier than refilling non-disposable ones. Plus, you fill a few up, replace the caps, drop them in your pocket with some batteries and you are ready to go. You don't have to worry about leakage in your pocket at all.

Once I mastered the art of the draw on this thing, the words of praise came easy. And now that I"ve got the hang of guessless and messless refills, I now consider my need for a dependably satisfying and affordable vaping system to be resoundingly fulfilled. Thanks for your role in this.

"Phil" ;)

I've been using the Nebula since Friday. It's performing better than I had anticipated. I get great a great hit, flavor and vapor, especially after I refill. The batteries are lasting 2 1/2 hours of near constant use, and up to 4 when I switch on/off with another e-cig.

The draw is very light, almost too light. I did find that if I cover 2 holes and take 3 or 4 quick primer puffs, the draw gets a little stiffer.

I hope Ben has plenty in stock, because I'll be ordering more next week.

Breaking mine in today... At first was a bit disappointed but the more I use it, the more I like it... Am wondering how long the battery will last as I've been using the first fully-charged one for four hours (so far) and its still going strong! :D

Me too... I figured out you have to draw on in it right to get the best result...

Any insights on how I should know when to switch out the cart? As I understand it, the quality of the batting (does this cartomizer have regular batting?) degrades pretty quickly, especially if you let it run dry. Does this mean it burns, or becomes less absorptive? Won't be blazing on this thing all day every day, likely an average of 5 drags/day. Maybe I should just set a schedule, like change the cart every 2 weeks?

(sorry, didn't want to start a new thread for this)

hey Ben,

Are there any more Nebulas available for ordering? The website still has the info from the original pre-sale.

Yeah, having some trouble with the updating of the site but we've got them in stock and shipping.
Thanks,
Ben
