Love it.

Essence of functionality.

Form factor is good. Hand fit is good.

I purchased a new lp grand in copper wrinkle with a brass rm2 last weekend.

If it was available at the time i ordered, I would have bought the rm4 or 5 but I have no buyers remorse.

The RM2 is tiny and relatively a featherweight, at a price that doubles tanks built with double the materials. However, the function is terrific. My posts were obviously assembled by hand, an imperfection I appreciate. But when it comes to flavor and use, the RM2 has performed above my expectations, despite the forementioned observations. Furthermore, the tiny blowhole is perfect for my suiting, as I am a mouth to lung inhaler and so i prefer the tight, flavorful mouth pulls that i ramp up before the lung pull. It gets hot, but chains much better than most tanks i own...

As for squonking, this is a touchy subject for me (pun not intended). I realize its kind of "dripping made practical," but the fact that the juice flows onto the heating element and back down.... definitely not sold on that dynamic.

Getting a good feel for the wick without ever checking inside wasn't a big hurdle, and I don't consider that a long-tem hindrance whatsoever.

I did notice that I get more a flavorful hit when I fire and squonk (and vape) in conjunction. It's obviously inconvenient to do with the current form factor, but I treat myself to a two handed vape every now and then and it's often spectacular.

All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the lp grand or it's little sister and virtually anything that comes out of Reosmods' shop. Thank you dude.

The drip tip isn't perfect, but it was what I had on hand, and it lines up pretty well and has a wide hole.

I'm using a single coil, 7 wraps (iirc) on a 2.4mm postpin (drill bit), 30g kanthal a1, with the coils centered low and above the non centered feed hole, with a silica wick. oh yea, lol, most important, 1.85 ohms. couldn't get good taste at 1.3. i'll rebuild this soon out of boredom for sure.

I use cotton in my kayfun but read somewhere that silica is preferable for a reo. didn't dig deep at all on that. was probably misinformed. reosmods doesn't stock cotton or rayon so i thought maybe that information was accurate..

Thanks Rick, I'll rewick when I return home. I bought some wannabe extra virgin organic cotton. not the japanese stuff, but I'll try it asap.

More i think about it, the sooner i want this silica out. but in silica's defense, that is some amazing ship it pulls off getting torched dry and holding form. amazing really.

Truly YMMV, once you get the Reo and the RM2, now it's time to play with coil builds, coil placement and wicking to dial in your perfect vape. Mine is a coil in the 1 ohm range wrapped on 1/16" mandrel, wicked with 2mm hollow ceramic from readyXwick with the coil wraps spaced. Cotton has a huge following, especially Koh gen do. Some others really like hemp. Haven't heard much silica lately.

That sums up a the Reo experience perfectly in only three words.

You will get your sqounky mojo down in short order. Can we see a pic of your build? May be able to offer some pointers to improve the experience regarding wicking.

Perhaps an "E" word change......otherwise, DEAD-ON!:D
EPITOME!!
