So I've had my provari about a month and I absolutely love it. The vape budget is getting back to where I can get the next, and hopefully one of the last, hardware purchases I've been wanting for a while - a decent mech mod. Anyway, I'd like something as small as possible, probably an 18350, but I plan on using a kick (I just like the added safety factor). I'm posting this in the Provari subforum because I'd like the opinions of fellow provari owners as I know we understand good quality ;)

Have you considered the other device that's got a cult-like following?

So Cal
I've got to second the Reo - it's what I use when I'm not using my Provari! Before I got it I was concerned about how it looked...but once I got it and put the RM2 (the RDA that he sells) on top, I could not believe the vape :) I have a mini, and it's really very small. Between the Provari, the Reo, and my Halo Tritons (for out and about), I'm good to go with gear:p

I'd say a Reo with an RM2 also. Just drilled the airhole on my RM2 to 1.5mm today - it was a great vape before, now it's amazing.

Or if you want something with rounder edges, I'd recommend the Vmod - I've got an XL and a mini for during the day, I'm not as worried about scratching or dropping them at work as I would be with the Reo.

Or if you prefer a tube style mod, any of the GP Paps range with a Kayfun atty or a Russian atty. In 18350 mode, my GP Paps is a tiny hard hitting mod. Supreme engineering, the button throw is so short it's almost like a touch sensor :D

I may have to break down and get a reo...is the resale on them as good as the provari? The gp paps looks like a good option, I have a Russian that i love...but it's a bit on the pricey side.

From what I've seen the Reo holds it's value pretty well because their not made in huge quantities, same with the GP range. To be honest though, once you've got one I'd be surprised if you want to sell it

It has exactly the same, effect, though without the hassle LOL People who've had Kayfuns try an RM2 and are impressed - just sayin' :p

You don't drip, per se, with a REO...hmmm, upside down dripping maybe. :p The REO-nauts call it "squonking" IIRC.

I have my one ProVari and my mech mod (Private V2 #00018) + kick2 just sits in the drawer next to the Sig ZmaxV5. Instead of buying a REO, I ended up buying a Dripper PRO.

Right on...I have a R91% and will have the Dripper PRO in a week or so. I'm somewhat regretting the R91% and if the Dripper PRO ends up being a bust, I'm absolutely going to kick myself for not getting a VV REO Grand! :p

I have 4 mechs, all bought before my first ProVari. I didn't use kicks, nor the $50 worth of fuse's I bought for them. Favorite mech is the Megalodon from the UK. When in 18350 config it's very tiny for carrying in a pocket. I have all the tubes for it to run up to 18650 batts and with stacked batts for higher voltage... but I never used them. It's fire button is highly adjustable, way more than enough to run a fuse but I have no idea if a kick in it. The other three are Sigelei clones, all well enough built and reliable for their low cost. The #8w Caravella was used the most with both it's 18350 and 18650 tubes. The other two telescope to use whatever batts, a #19e Copper and #20 Roller. All 3 will run a fuse no problem, at least the 19 & 20 would run a kick. The only one I've used since I started buying ProVari's is the Megalodon - really great with a small RBA on it (has a Dripper Pro on it right now).

What are you not liking about the 91% ? is it the adjustable pin by chance?
