Just bought the kato 18650 box today. Although i think it may be a clone. Ive read that prophet vapor only made 500 of them. The serial number on it is k4638. And if the original price tag was $240 then its got to be a clone cause it was marked for $65 and the shop owner let me have it for $50. Other than that it looks as authentic as can be from the mod down to the blue case it came with.

Anyone got ideas on this?

The unique and defining quality of the kato design is even though it's a box shaped mod (plus it holds the topper on the side like the vtr), it can use topcaps and bottom switches from tube mods of the same threading ( I believe it's m21x1 thread so it should take chiyou/king/astro parts).

and since it seems to be compatible with m21x1 thread, you can add a kicktube and a kick, so you end up with a vtr, but fully serviceable by yourself!
