In my Hammer clone I use (older) red AW, (older) red Efest, and some B&M recommended batteries called Demonfire. I was really worried about those. You may or may not follow the mindset avoid any battery with -fire in the name. At this point I can say those are the exception to the rule. I can slap on in my SVD 2 or Vamo v5 and run them at both device's upper range without problems. My only issue is I can't find a manufacture site or better (more trusted) information than the most basic ad sheet. Also the easiest way to buy them is the dreaded amazon. I got them for around 6 bucks each, and can't really complain. I don't go crazy on the Hammer, and find myself more and more just running a Nautilus mini or Aerotank mini on it. Can't really vouch how these would handle more aggressive sub ohm builds, but who would look to 18350's for that anyway?

Expect to need lots of batteries if you want to stay with the Hammer. I can sit and puff away on that thing all night and run through 3 batteries.

Hope I was helpful. Cheers!

Upon further inspection of the battery I notticed "ICR 18350 900mAh 3.7V" located on the side of the battery. Is there an ideal brand that would fit into the hammer clone? I'm a new comer to the vape life and have quit smoking completely. So any friends or helpful tips and tricks would be helpful.

Most vapers consider the best batteries for vaping is AW's:

This site sells silver labeled authentic ones:

AW IMR 18350 800mah 12A - AW, Panasonic - Mod Batts Chargers

IMR batteries feature inherently safer chemistry than ICR batteries. That is why smart vapers use them

ICR batteries can vent violently with flames, fumes and smoke. IMR batteries can vent too, but usually without the flames and smoke. For this reason there are protected ICR batteries. Protected ICR batteries feature a protection chip on the battery and there is a ribbon wire that runs under the wrapper that an unprotected battery will not have. That makes a protected ICR battery wider than unprotected battery.

You should choose an IMR battery for your mod, regulated or mech. IMR batteries are available with different current and capacity ratings. Choose a current rating that is high enough to meet your needs.

Red IMR Efest batteries are excellent for lower wattage vaping. Purple Efest are better for higher wattage. AW, Samsung, Panasonic, and Sony are among the other IMR and IMR hybrid battery brands that offer the highest current ratings.
