Hello everybody. I made the switch, I am leaving behind the VV/VW's for my first mech mod and am pretty excited about it. After two SVD's having problems with circuitry, couple drops and I am not gentle with things, I ordered a Stingray clone.

Any advice on the builds for my attys with the new mod? I am using eFest 18650's - 2,000 mah and 3.7V. Want to make sure I stay safe with the resistance. A range not to go under or over?

I have an Aqua clone and a Kraken clone. I am using 30 gauge kanthal (what i have in the house right now) and organic cotton. I have both setups going for my iTaste but want to make sure I do things right for the Stingray. I do have some mesh that came with the hcigar Agua clone and there I have some 2.5 mm silica wick, also.

I am also loving the Boba's Bounty which is 100% VG and I like this better than the PG/VG's that I have tried. Although, the Caste Long from five pawns is darn good. But I have noticed that the Boba's seems to gum up the wick a lot faster than the others. Advice on wicking material? How to use?

Just putting this out to the collective knowledge of the ECF community. :D Y'all have been wonderful so far and have helped me a lot. :):vapor::headbang:

Looks like the Efest's I have are only 10A. So it looks like as long as I keep my resistance at 0.8 ohms or higher I should be alright. An online calculator calculated 4.625 A at 3.7V and 0.8ohms. I guess the worry would be anything below .5 ohms. Then I am doubling my Amps and getting close to the max for the battery. Fine by me - I'll keep it between .8-1.2 ohms until I get some new batteries.

Efest purples go up to 35A. Any recommendations on better batteries?
