been wanting a, mech mod to get into sub ohm dripping more than I am now. Think ive decided on a stingray clone. Trying to spend 30-50$. I've read great things about eh pros clones.. I've also read good things about infinite. However ive read issues w the button on infinites stingray.

I also see angelcigs.com have good prices but no idea on the quality of the clone. I know i'm not gonna find perfection in a clone and id love to support the original creator of th mod but this it's the best I.can do atm. If anyone has any advice or suggestions of other similarly priced mechs id live to hear!

I have two different Stingray clones.

The Infinite Black Copper Stingray has button issues. It looks fantastic. The etchings are deep and defined. It also hits like a brick. I like the MOD well enough, and it does work well enough, but had I known about the button issues, and that they are pretty widespread, I wouldn't have bought it.

I also have an hcigar Brass Stingray, and I must say that it's about perfect. No button issues. It's smooth just as it should be. It looks great (especially now that it's developing a patina), and also hits hard. From most reports, it's pretty spot-on to the original.

I would absolutely buy an Hcigar Brass Stingray clone again. I wouldn't buy another Black Copper from Infinite (which would also keep me from buying a brass or stainless version from them too).

I really dig the Tree of Life clone by Infinite. I've inspected every piece from the original side by side with the clone and I can't see any appreciable difference. It's a fantastic clone, and works great.

That's where I was leaning. The hcigar brass stingray clone. Is 45$ a good price or is the same device available cheaper?

If you look around on eBay, you should be able to get one for less than $40 with free shipping from a seller with outstanding feedback.

I buy virtually everything that isn't an original from eBay, but only from highly rated sellers. Stick with a highly rated seller and you'll be good.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my Fasttech Stingray clone.

Infinite really dropped the ball on the black copper Stingrays, but the stainless, brass, and red copper all seem pretty spot on.

With that said, with HCigar they nailed the black copper as well as the brass and stainless. If I was presented a choice between an Infinite or HCigar and they were close to the same price I would pick HCigar every time.
