First Mechanical Mod

I'm been using the generic ecig and I've decided to move to a mech mod. I was looking at a battery and I'm wondering if it's safe to use. It's a 26650.

Nope. From what I can find, that is absolutely NOT a good battery for vaping. Hard to find max amp rating, but if it's .45A you're going to run into some very serious problems.

You're looking for an MNKE or Vappower 26650.

I would try to make sure you have an AW sticker on the battery. They usually perform more consistently over drainage time and are safe for vape use.

Stay away from that thing. For 26650s, go with MNKE or PVTSO.

Well that battery tests out to be 3800mAh instead of 6800mAh, so I didn't bother to look any farther into the specs.

Do NOT use.... this wis explode, CURRENT OUTPUT 0.45 A , Thats less than 1/2 an amp of power, you want at minimum a battery rated at 10amp. That battery would be OK for a flashlight, but nothing to do with vaping.
