And I've been asking myself the question "why did I do this earlier?"
It's improved my protank quite a bit! The cotton is much better imo than silica and even the ekowool that I used.

For any of you who are debating about trying it, do it. It's well worth it, and it's not very hard to do. In fact, building a micro is easier for me than building a standard coil.

I simple seat the coil, thread it, and use the remainder to fill in the channel surrounding the coil housing. So far no flooding, even when the tank gets down, it stays gurgle free. I haven't had a dry hit yet, and I like to chain vape.

I'm ecstatic I've learned how to do this. It's making me want a sophia more now than ever.

Congratulations - enjoy

Rarely does one find something that is significantly cheaper and performs superior to original product.

Building coils/wicking can also be an inexpensive hobby: many many combinations and permutations of coil/wick material, coil diameter/number of wraps/number of coils.

You might consider an RDA - superior flavor and vapor -IMHO

RDAs from fast tech are very inexpensive if you decide to give one a try. I enjoy every RDA I have purchased, from $6-$7 IGO-L to IGO-W, Nimbus, Patriot, Origen and Magma.

The Magma and Origen are great for work vape break because of their juice wells. The Origen reminds me of a standard size cigarette smoke time and the Magma of the super long ones.

Man - I haven't smoked since 2007 and already I have forgotten what they called those skinny long cigs.
