Hey all,
Thanks to all the great posts I managed to mix my first few batches of DIY goodness. I vaped it and lived to tell about it.
I made a strawberry + marshmallow mix, quite yummy and a orange creamsicle + marshmallow mix, its missing something but nonetheless equally as good. I mixed both using Capella flavoring @ 20mg slowing starting to work my way down from 24mg. I let both steep for a week and not bad.

Seeing as vaped flavors are subjective to the taster, i have found in my limited experience that the use of mixing calculators is quite the same. Using Scubabatdan's calculator as a model, which is a great calc, I modified it to meet my needs by doing away with drops since I will not be using drops as a form of measurement and did away with the alcohol/water since I wont be doing any vg thinning. Otherwise added a few extra flavor lines, up to 10 ingredients total, rearranged it some and we have yet another diy calculator. If anyone is interested in it let me know, ill figure out a way to upload it.

Thanks again to all of you and Scubabatdan for his hard work on the calc it all really help tons.

Being on the road a lot due to my job helps me avoid the urge to sneak a taste and gives me something to look forward to when i come home Not having a large stock pile of flavors or nic i'm hesitant to try it right away, i can see my self thinking its under flavored and being wasteful by over flavoring.
I was wondering if anyone has experimented with different water temperatures to determine if it effects the steep differently. I mixed up two identical 5 ml caramel apple's to test the steep. I was thinking of putting one in a constant water temp of 85 degrees F for a day shaking it whenever i remember too and let the other just sit in my drawer for a few days then compare to see what the flavor difference is. Any ideas?
