finally got my epower 18650 in today from lf and this things HUGE, not what i was expecting but oh well it's worth it for the longer battery life i guess, got some mega dual coils in from lf today to and i like em allot, good juice capacity n hit almost like the other dual coils, the tops a pain to get in at first but i do like the rubber style tip it has. unfortunate part is there was no button protector with my kit like lf said it comes with... was really looking forward to having it since my e-stoge goes off allot in my pocket at work...
nvm i looked again n only the 14650 comes with a button protector... kinda sucks

well that doesnt make me feel to bad then. got a question to though the threads between the switch and battery holder are really tight and squeek and catch allot was wondering what i could use to smooth them up don't want to just spray some random stuff in there wanna make sure its something thats safe to use

I have GA's version (the No Ego) and was having a problem with grounding, but he offered new tubes to those of us who got the all aluminum version. This thing is a GREAT VAPE! I was making my own 18650 mods but always had the button at the bottom, very awkward with this big a mod. What I do is just unscrew the carto/atty when I don't want it going off. Just a couple twists breaks contact with the connector.

Of course, I never put the thing down long enough! ;)

BTW, I missede the part about the squeaking. Is yours an all aluminum version? If so BE CAREFUL screwing it together! It crossthreads easily and wears down the aluminum and makes grounding difficult. I took a pair of "waterpump" pliers and flattened the tube on one side to resolve the issue, but it would still give me the 4 flash "BSOD" occasionally. The copper tube is much, much better!

well the battery the switch still goes with the atty off, but i guess it's not a big deal im just gonna have to get used to the size of this thing, it does make a good fist pack though :) ya i saw the noego to but i've been looking at the epower for a long time so i just got this, now i just need to figure out where i can get a replacement switch for backup. does anyone know of this charger will work with the 14650 battery? the output is 1.2v/350mah and 3.7v/300mah, just wondering incase something happens and i cant find a switch for it i could just pick up the parts i need for the 14650 model for somewhat cheap

A little vaseline should help until you can pick up some noalox. The model number on my charger is yl-103a and it has the same output. If the batteries are the same length it should work. Madvapes, among others, carries parts for the e-power. Another suggestion might be to wait a few weeks and just buy a 14650 kit so that you have a complete backup, charger and all. Who knows, vv might be available in the near future.
