Hi everyone! In one more day, I will have made it through my first month without a cigarette and also my first month vaping! I was a pack a day (plus) smoker for over 32 years. My wife bought me a EVOD kit from our local e-cig store on a recommendation of a co-worker. I laid the cigs down and haven't looked back. (so far) I'm looking forward to talking with some of the many people here. Peace.

@alisa1970 - Love Donuts! Cannot get enough of them. ;)

@Worzel - I'm pretty moody and temperamental on a good day. lol. Yeah, it was tough for the first couple of weeks, really tough, but I think it's getting a little better now though. (My wife might disagree.) I find myself carrying my EVOD with me everywhere I go throughout the day. I mean literally everywhere. I'm using an 80 PG/20 VG 18 mg e-liquid and some days it seems too weak, some days I wonder if I should step down. I'm going through about a 15 ml bottle a week of my favorite e-liquid and I have a couple of other flavors I alternate with through the day. I'm still having days where I'm craving bad. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it being a stressful day either, just out-of-the-blue. I hope to step myself off of the nicotine gradually.

@dominador2nd - Thanks! I'm already spreading the word!

I laid down the analogs about two months ago and I love my PV and all the flavors. I do need to quit spending money on juice and new toys. Someday I might even save money. We have a brick and mortar store here in CO that I really like but they are limited in the products they stock, so I have been ordering from lots of the supplies I find on this forum. I just registered but have been "lurking" for two months!

I am disappointed in my sis and nephew. I set them both up with a full PV and liquids but they are both back to analogs. Sis has some chronic liver issues and her liver became enlarged about 2 weeks after she started vaping. Possibly just a coincidence but she has been very scared to go back and try again. Anyone have any info about this sort of thing? As for me, I am healthier, breath better, smell better and just happier all around since I can vape anywhere (even hospitals) and don't get grouchy from lack of nic!!!

Your sis really should consult her doctor before starting anything, including vaping. I'm not a doctor, but there may be something during detox that could be overloading her organs...too much work trying to deal with expelling and processing toxins, and likely doing more than it's used to. She should be monitored closely while she's detoxing.

Congrats on quitting!

Thank you Alisa. Excellent advice! Her name is Alice. Such a coincidence, huh? Never thought about the detox issue but it sure stands to reason since the liver is the great detoxifier for our bodies! She just has to be careful. Very little tylenol etc. or her liver enlarges. A little extra Milk Thistle and she gets it back under control. Also, I may not have really pushed her to drink a lot of water when she was vaping. She is a bit like W.C. Fields when it comes to water. Just doesn't like it.:p
