A little different yet, trowing around the idea of a trim plate around the button, made of either brass, or copper plate.

Input?

Like the button more towards the top on the new one. Easier to use with either thumb or index finger. Welded up top is clean looking. Is the button a click on/off. Shame if it is. Would make it too easy to overload the coil.

What it needs is a tank with big gaudy ribs on it with your drip tip on it. Would look like something out of an old 50's sci fi movie.

Call it Plan 9 after the movie Plan 9 From Outer Space. I think that movie is public domain now so you would not have to worry about being sued (but I would check to make sure).

Or... "It Lives!" The famous line from Frankenstein.

It's probably just nostalgia for the old garage days of vaping, but I like the rougher original version. I think if you polish it up too much and make it look pretty you're gonna lose folks like me and the steam punks. just my :2c:

Don't worry, I have a special trick up my sleeve for you guys! ;)

Actually he is right. The welded top is super clean looking but it's starting to look too refined. The screws in the top actually add character. You might even think about bigger allen head stainless screws. Exaggerate the look a little. Not to mention it would be easier to build.
