Greetings, ECFers!
I'm Josh, and I hope this finds you well.
I've got a square peg and a round hole here. maybe you can help?
I'm not new to vaping, as this is my third foray into this world, but I have
only recently been applying my mechanical talents to making some custom equipment for myself.
I began like most with a deluxe BLU starter kit in early 2010 after I watched a good
friends mother finally lose her long fight with "The Big C"(her name for it). I had been a smoker for over a decade,
and at the time I was putting away almost 2 packs a day.
After a week I was so frustrated with that piece of overpriced garbage that i tossed it in the closet and crawled back to the guilty comfort of Phillip Morris.
After a time I saw more and more brands appear at lower and lower prices until the guilt and fear
finally put a new kit into my budget. I got a PREMIUM branded kr808 kit and a PCC to carry to work.
I learned that night from Youtube that the cartomizers were easily refillable and I'm proud to say that
in the 9-10 months since that day I have smoked less than a pack of analogs.
and have saved hundreds!!!$$$
History aside, I constantly find myself unsatisfied with the amount of vapor that I'm getting out of this Hardware, and being a tinkerer I have become very familiar with the inner workings of these lovely devices. I am designing a few PVs for myself and the frustrating part of drawing up a circuit and selecting what equipment to use is the LACK OF DATA regarding these attys and cartos. every electronic component I buy has a data sheet I can find/download stating its min/max current and voltage, but there is no such resource that i have found for these. I need tolerances to work with.
This has run long, so I'll just ask. Does such a resource exist? and if so, could someone please help me find it?
I am thrilled that a community such as this exists and Look forward to being a part of it!
Thank you in advance!
