Greeting from the great white north!

Been lurking for some time but as you can see I finally joined. Started vaping Dec 17, 2014. Been smoking for around 13 years and was going to make my goal quit date on new years day, but thank the good man upstairs, I saw some people at the local cafe I frequent here in Toronto vaping. And basically 2 days later I bought my first setup and haven't touched a smoke since then. It's almost 2 months now, I feel way better, not as tired at work and generally a bit richer in the pocket :D

I for one am extremely happy for this technology, and for forums like this, that spread the awareness of vaping, not only for its lifestyle or its camaraderie (let's face it, vapers are a friendly bunch) but its overall health benefits for former smokers like myself. I just hope the rest of society will smarten up and let us vape in peace!

Cheers!

Hello GreekDude and welcome to the forum!

καλημέρα (= good morning, and that's about all I know of Greek :)) Glad you were able to make the switch.

If you have any questions or need any help, just ask. Someone will be by shortly to respond.

In the meantime, pull up a comfy chair, settle in and have a vape.

Happy Vaping!

Hello and welcome, Greekdude! :) You might be interested in another Greek who's heavily into the vaping scene and on the front lines in fighting for our rights as vapers. "The Vapin Greek" (Dimitri Agrafiotis) reviews equipment and makes videos that are educational. Good to watch. Meanwhile, just have a fun time learning all you can.

A good place to go is to CASAA.org which has all kinds of information that you should be aware of to arm yourself against ANTZ (Anti Nicotine Tobacco Zealots) and those who are buying the misinformation being spewed by these people and organizations that make their living off smoking or NRT's (Nicotine Replacement Therapies aka gum, patches, Chantix). Check out what your Canadian government makes off smoking and you'll realize why the sale of nicotine juice is restricted/banned in Canada.
