Hello everyone this would be my first post as a member to this site but I have been browsing as a guest for quite some time to gain some very insightful information. This site seems to have a broad spectrum of vapers which I do appreciate. I'm fairly new to vaping, started with the typical ego I bought from a shop down the road and have worked my way up to my current set up of a Spire by Beyond Vape mod, 18650 batteries and a nautilus mini tank. A friend of mine at work bought the Aspire CF Mod with the atlantis and I tried it and immediately fell in love. I did some research and saw a lot of warnings about sub ohm vaping which I'm not too familiar with. I know the dangers of using a mod that won't tolerate sub ohm power. I wanted to know if I could use the atlantis with .5 ohm with my spire mod, without having to buy the attachment. I know that it puts out at 4.2v which made me curious because I usually go at 6.0v with my 1.8ohm coils in my nautilus. My question is could I use the .5ohm atlantis coils on my spire, and what would be a suitable voltage/wattage to use it? I thank you all in advance for reading my post.

The mod itself shouldn't really have anything to do with it, it's more about the batteries you have in there. The ego batteries usually max at about 3.5 amps. Make sure you look for "high drain" 18650 batteries like Efest or Sony, and you can push those down to like .3 Ohms. Here's the formula: Amps = Volts divided by Ohms. Watts = Amps times Volts. Watts is simply a measurement of total power, while Amps is a measurement of actual current. Hope this helps!
