Hey hey hey! So I started vaping three weeks ago and haven't looked back!! Well I did try a drag of an analog delivery system about a week ago to see what I was missing...

Disgusting!!! Why did I ever like those things!?!? I honestly felt sick to my stomach!!

Anyways figured its time to start posting. I started with a kGo 1100 mAh with a CE4 cartomizor and a 1.5 oHm atty. I didn't like the carto once I started dripping.

I think I am already wanting to upgrade to an APV. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Welcome and congrats!
There are so many choices out there for hardware. Asking for recommendations will prove to be an interesting experience. Since people have different budgets, different expectations from a PV (size, battery life, reliability, backups etc.), it difficult to recommend something without getting multiple people chiming in with their opinions on your recommendations.

I will tell you what I've experienced and maybe it'll help.
First of all, the best vape for me is cartomizers with a hold punched and a tank around the carto. I also keep an atomizer handy for testing juices and for an occasional coffee vape (couldn't do it all day.. so wouldn't fill a tank of it).
I have a full Lava Tube (current version without the limitations). It has a 18650 battery that lasts quite a long time. The LT works just fine. When I received it, I quickly realized that this is not something I can take out in public. Therefore, I had to buy something else for out and about.

I purchased two eGo-C Twists (650 mah). These for me are quite good. I can take them anywhere and if one were to short out, I have a backup. If my only device was a LT or any single device, I'd be in trouble if it broke. The Twist may be a few dollars more in the long run (after a year or so) because they need to be replaced every so often. The truth is for me, the few dollars more is worth it for the portability, convenience and backup. After getting the twists, I really never used my Lava Tube again. It's not that they are better, it's just that the LT is huge.

All of that said, I got a Provari Mini two weeks ago with 3 batteries. Obviously this was not a purchase based on trying to save money. This was something I just really wanted. I read so many posts from happy Provai users so I went to the store and tried one out. I loved it and bought it. Since I purchased the Provari, I haven't even picked up my LT or eGo twists. I keep the Twists in the car just as a backup.

Welcome to ECF!

I started with an ego set up with 900mAh batt and a 650mAh. It worked pretty good but I wanted more. Moved up to a variable voltage model with an Apollo Vtube. 2 weeks ago I got my first Provari. The wife inherited my ego set up and loves it.

So, regarding what to get, consider what you want out of it: Are you looking for longer battery life? Do you want to be able to change the voltage amounts going to your atomizer/tank/cart? Do you care how big it is? Are finances a consideration?

Once you know some of these answers it will be easier for you to choose one. There are so many different models and choices you really can't go wrong with any suggestions you get here from experienced users. Any one of them work well. We each end up with our own preferences.

Good luck!
